David entered the arena, leading the dark bay Warmblood gelding that had been assigned to him. He was glad that he had been assigned such an athletic and intelligent animal, and couldn't wait to start their friendship together. As soon as Ms. Carr had left them be, David had pulled him out of his stall and proceeded to groom his dark coat till it shone. Next, he placed the saddle and bridle that were the horse's, along with his mint green leg wraps. Timetable had stood politely as David fiddled on him, but also appeared eager to head out. Now, he led him into the arena, holding tightly to his reins. He led the gelding to the mounting block, and halted him. If it was his horse, he would of mounted the gelding from the ground. However, since he was new to him, he was unsure on how the gelding would react. He stroked his neck firmly, tightened the girth and checked the stirrups before mounting. Timetable fidgeted slightly, eager to be jumping. Collecting his mount, David steered him towards the outside, and asked for a walk, letting the gelding stretch out his long legs.

"Stand!" Cara growled as she flicked the mare on her neck with the lead rope as Daredevil tried to bolt forward as she was led out of her stall. Sure the girl like spirited horses, but Taking a Dare sure took the cake on spirit.
Once the mare was tacked up in her gear, brown saddle and bridle with a golden yellow blanket under the saddle. And the girl had fitted the mare's jumping boots onto her legs - in a matching golden yellow - she placed her helmet onto her head and led the large mare toward the indoor arena - only needing to reprimand the mare twice more before she walked sedately at the small girl's side.
She had been asked to give the mare a little schooling as she was becoming to be a brute in her stall and the equestrian facility thought that it could be because the mare was getting bored. The teen had chosen the indoor arena as she hoped that it wouldn't be occupied as the size difference between horse and rider was no doubt going to draw at least one set of eyes.
"Gate!" Her accented words were clear as she announced their presence before they entered the arena. Her eyes instantly fell on Timetable and his rider and she mentally uttered a curse. Too late to leave now though, she secured the gate behind them and they crossed the arena to the mounting block.
Running the stirrups down, she tightened the girth, stepped up onto the block, placed her foot into the stirrup and swiftly swung into the saddle. And, as expected the mare instantly calmed down and waited for the first cue from her rider.

David let his gelding walk around the arena, hearing Cara call out gate before she entered the arena. Timetable was still walking around, stretching out his long legs and bobbing his head excitedly. Nudging him softly with his heels, he clucked towards the gelding and asked him to pick up a working trot. Timetable flickered his ears around, before extending his long legs and picked up a working trot. David sat back in his saddle, enjoying the gelding's stride and looking around the arena. Cara was mounting a horse, and David was unsure of how the other horse would react to his mount. Well, he did not even know how his horse would react to the other horse!
Letting his gelding trot around the arena once, David looked towards the slightly inside lane, he spotted a few small fences. He knew his gelding would probably get frustrated, but he was interested in learning how he jumped before they moved up. Turning him at the end of the arena, he pointed him towards the two jumps. Timetable continued to trot, and a few strides before the jump, transitioned into a canter. David sat back till right before the fence, then lifted in his saddle and sat back again once they cleared the fence. He collected Timetable, letting the gelding put in three strides between fences and then rose again, waiting for him to clear the next one. Timetable cleared both fences neatly, folding his knees up and cantered out strongly. [/center]

Even though she was a dream under the saddle, Daredevil quickly grew bored of just walking around the track and threw her head into the air as she tried to get above the bit and then bobbed her head up and down when her rider wouldn't give her the chance.
Cara shook her head at the mare, but not a word left her lips as she kept her hands low and asked the stroppy mare for a ten metre circle. Two strides from the track, Cara asked for a transition into a trot and the mare jumped forward into an uncomfortable jog. Circling the mare again, the young rider brought her back to a walk and once more asked for a trot as they came back to the track. She nodded as the Trakehner floated forward in a nicely gaited trot.
Moving her eyes, but not her head, Cara watched as the other rider rode Timetable toward the small line of fences that were set up, possibly for a novice class later that day. She liked the way the Dutch Warmblood jumped and he would make a nice hunter with his nice bascule over the jumps.
The sight of another horse jumping caught her own mount's attention and the mare's hindquarters swung off the track. Cara sat deep in the saddle and got the mare's attention back on what they were doing. She knew that Daredevil loved to jump, but at the moment they were working and suppleness and flexibility.
