Serena had organised that her two new purchases to be trucked from the Auction Yard to the Academy, but the only problem was that the two beauties were so nervous around humans, that it had taken them 3 hours to corner and sedate the two horses. The gelding was a pretty bay and needed just a little TLC to regain his former condition. The mare a chestnut was a Seeing Eye horse for her brother, and also just needed some love. There were many reasons that Serena had bought the two, and many mirrored her own life. Yet now she had a valid reason for visiting this specific barn. Not only did she have her own two here, Jude also stabled in this specific barn. Just thing about sent her heart pounding away at a hundred beats per minute.

Serena was thinking of renaming the two beauties; give them new names, as they now had a new future with her. Something Norse or Celtic in origin, but she would consult the internet for really good ones. The barn manager was really on top of things and two stalls had been prepared in advance. They would have ample space and would still be able to interact with each other through the iron grills. She wondered if Jude would be in the barn any time soon, as she wanted to show him her new arrivals. Serena quickly texted him to let him know that she was back. She left out the fact that she had bought company with her. Company that was a pricey acquisition. She had also bought some new, basic tack. Not saddles or bridles, Psych’s would have to do for the while, but halters and grooming kits. Shocking pink for Fae and a royal blue for Bay.

She led them into the stalls, their dull eyes not registering where they were. When they did wake up though, then all hell was going to break loose. Serena would need a lot of help with them, but the end result was going to be wonderful. She shut the stall doors one at a time, and left a few carrots in the feed bin, and full hay nets. The water held some rescue remedy and aspen essence. She quickly logged on to the internet with her phone. Searching the names, she found one for Bay. Looking at the horse, she spoke to him quietly. I rename you Ahearn, after the Celtic Lord of Horses. And you sweet mare will be Gawain, from Arthurian legend.

Jude entered the barn then, leading his light chestnut mount, one fondly known as Beyond. They were returning from an incredibly good workout, and now the gelding was still lightly covered with water. Jude had hosed him down after the workout, and then walked him around till he was nearly dry. The tack that was once on his body was now balanced on Jude's hip, and the gelding walked behind him, ears pricked and eager to be back in his stall. His other two, Chaos and Jazz, were resting in their stalls, although Chaos seemed to be a bit more restless.

Jude turned him into his stall and led him around, halting him and reaching up to undo his bridle. He graciously slid the bridle off the gelding's head and hooked it over his arm, grabbing his water bucket on the way by. He placed all the gelding's tack back in the tack room, before filling the water and placing it back in his stall.

Casting a glance into the other two's stalls, he grabbed Chaos' water bucket and filled it. Suddenly, he felt his phone vibrate. It was a text from Serena, letting him know that she was back from auction. He was walking and texting her, before looking up and seeing her standing in the stable aisle.

Weird, he thought to himself, I didn't know she was stabled here too.. Placing the water bucket back in Chaos' stall, he walked over to her, standing behind her for a second. Extending his arms out, he wrapped them around her waist, pulling her close and whispered into her ear. "Hey babe, I'm glad you're back!

The two horses hardly registered her words. Ahearn was just standing there, and Gawain just flicked an ear. That was a beginning. The amount of work that was going to have to go in to the two was going to take time and a lot of effort. She wondered if Jude was going to pitch up at the barn, when she felt his strong arms around her waist, and his voice in her ear. Hey hon. I was wondering when you were arriving.

Serena turned her gaze back towards her two new horses. She knew that they would appreciate being outside, and it was safer so. They wouldn't be able to injure themselves in her paddock, and Psych was gentle enough, but she wanted them to be checked out by the vet sooner rather than later.

The mare threw her head up in as Addison led her down to her stall, The mares name was Cross my Heart, or Diamond as Addy called her. She was sweet Quarter Horse mare at the young age of six, Addison had found a love for this black and white paint. Addy heard voices down the barn isle as she came to the stall that held her mare. she looked down and saw a man and a women, they looked no younger than Addison herself at the age of 17. They looked like a couple, she didn't feel that she should interrupt them. As soon as the man neared the girl though a shrill whinny broke the silence of the barn. Addy knew what horse that was too, her newest Gelding Keshet. An abused Thoroughbred who was deathly afraid of men. She ran down the isle her blond hair flying as she did so. She flew past the two to the stall next to mare where the gray Gelding had his ears pinned down to his skull showing the whites of his eyes.

"Easy boy, Easy Keshet" She crooned undoing the bolt and letting herself into his stall. the gelding let her approach slowly letting her lay her hands upon his sweaty neck. He snorted stopping his hoof against the floor watching the male with distaste as Addisons hands ran across the geldings neck. "shhh my boy shh." She whispered.

Jude kept his arms wrapped firmly around Serena's waist,enjoying the warmness and closeness of her body. He had really missed her while she was gone at the auction, and was extremely glad she was back. Smiling, he bent his head down and kissed her shoulder softly, leaving his lips pressed against her shoulder. He had noticed the other girl enter with a horse, and then lazily glanced at the horses that Serena now had horses in. His eyebrows flew up quickly, and he quickly gathered his facial expressions before looking at them again.

Two very abused, neglected, and obviously shy horses stood in the stalls. He knew they were going to need a lot of work, but Serena had a huge heart and he should of known she would not be able to pass them by. He would gladly help her if she asked him for it, although he was not quite sure of how much help he could be if the horses were afraid of males.

Hearing the shrill whinny down the barn, Jude turned his head and saw a horse that was obviously afraid of males being around. He paused, unsure of what to do. Leaning down into Serena's ear, he whispered quickly and quietly. "Looks like I'm unwelcome here now.." He kissed her cheek quickly, and then walked down to Chaos' stall, who was quite disturbed at the noise. Slipping into the stall, he slid his hand down his slightly wet neck. "Easy boy.. easy.." He kept his hand on his neck, looking over at Serena anxiously.
