Andie skipped to the gym, turning a cartwheel as she crossed the threshold. She was dressed in her dance clothes, and had posted a note on the bulletin board that she was going to be in here and the gym was open to all those who had any interest in being part of the cheer squad. She had also asked for Miss Warner, the dance teacher to come in if had time. Even though the girl had no problems of choreographing her own cheer routines, it was always good to have an older and wiser person here to offer advice. She placed her dance bag on the ground and pulled the pink Hello Kitty clipboard and pen from inside the bag and balanced them carefully on top of the pink bag. She then sat on the floor with her legs stretched out in front of her and began to stretch out. Hoping that at least a few other girls would show up, she wanted to be ready to show them things. And if no one turned up, she wanted to muck around anyway. ~~~~~~~~ Andie's Outfit

D.avina K.eeley Wandering down the halls the other day, she happened to see a bulliten board about a cheer meeting. Dav could dance, she was sexy, friendly, flirty, all the qualities in a cheer leader. How hard could it be? Her turquoise tennis shoes carried her across the campus and into the gym. She removed the aviators from her flawless face and slid them up in her free falling locks. Her brunette hair waved behind her as her eyes adjusted to the dim lighting and she walked into the room they were supposed to meet in. The seventeen year old surveyed from the door frame, a leg posed on the toe of her shoe. She saw one girl, decked out in everything pink, stretching on the floor. Her smooth legs with defined calves carried her near. A friendly, yet competitive smile graced her painted lips, " Hi, I'm Davina. I saw the flyer on the bulletin board." She was assuming this girl was named Andie, as, the flyer was signed by her. There was no one else in the room as yet. Outfit: Here

Andie looked up at the sound of footfalls on the floor. As the girl got closer, the captain sat up, reaching her fingers toward the ceiling as she stretched out her back. She just sat there as the girl approached and waited for her to speak first.
"Hi, I'm Davina. I saw the flyer on the bulletin board."
Andie tipped her head to the side as she looked the other girl up and down. Davina was standing and Andie was sitting on the floor, but Andie had enough confidence that she knew she was holding all the power. With a single word, she could send the girl away. "Welcome to my world." She said with a grin. "I'm Andie. I would suggest that you start stretching as I have a few things I want to get through before the meeting is over." Getting to her feet, her walked over and picked up the clipboard. "What would your last name be, Davina?" She asked as she wrote down the teen's name. At least the girl came dressed for what she was here for.

D.avina K.eeley The brunette noticed she was being looked over. Her face didn't show it, but her thoughts were loud in her head, see anything worthy of polly pocket? She assumed the girl's favorite color was pink. Right away, the teen introduced herself, and Davina smiled at her right assumption. She just nodded her head at the instructions and lowered herself to the floor. She put her legs in a V-shape out in front of her, and stretched her arms and torso and touched the end of her toe. Her mind counting the seconds. She rose from the position and looked up as Andie asked for her last name, "Keeley. K-e-e-l-e-y."
"So how many are on the squad?" she asked casually as she repeated the same procedure on her other leg. Granted, it had been a while since Dav had done anything in public, but dancing in the dorm room to 60's and 70's music was a nightly ritual.

"Thanks." Andie grinned toward Davina as the girl was kind enough to spell out her last name. Andie guessed she was lucky that not a lot of people needed her to spell out her own. She tucked the pen back into the top of the board, placed it on the bag and lowered herself back onto the ground. "Have you had any cheer experience?" She asked over the top of Davina's question of numbers. "I like to have thirteen names down on the squad list. More if people show the talent." She shrugged. "I know thirteen isn't a good number for a lot of people, but with eight of us out there at a time, it gives me at least three reserves - not everyone can make every game."

Adonia was walking down the hall towards the gym, the halls were empty. Her black and blue shoes echoed off the floors due to the quiet and emptiness. She had her brunette hair pulled back in a pony tail walking down the hall made it bob up and down with every step she took. Her shorts were were cotton Holister brand and light blue. She loved these shorts they were the most comfortable shorts she just happened to own. Adonia loved the tank top that she was wearing it was also very comfortable. I heart boys was written on the front of it with the heart cracked all to pieces by a cupids arrow. Other than that the tank top was the color of a recently fallen snow. A black and white bag bounced against her hip as she walked Aeropostal written in white curly letters. Her thumb ran over her favorite ring that she had gotten for her birthday. In curly letters it spelled out love. The same as her solid gold necklace that her foster father had gotten her before that left. She pulled her purple water bottle from her bag taking a quick drink of the clear liquid before shoving it back into her bag.
Adonia walked in with a smile plastered across her lips, two girls were already there one of which she assumed would be the girl that posted the bulletin. She saw the girls stretching on the floor and assumed that she should take position too. Adonia knew that if she didn't stretch more than likely she would pull something. She dropped her bag beside the wall near a pink one that looked very frilly. She walked over with a bounce in her step before sitting down. She wasn't too close to the girls but not too far away. She didn't wanna be so close that she hit someone doing her stretches. "I'm Adonia i saw the Flyer on the Bulletin board " She said with the perky smile she seemed to always have.

Andie looked up at the sound of someone else entering the gym. She dropped her head down and went back to stretching out, she'd given the new-comer's arrival acknowledgment and wasn't going to give more.
She looked up again as the girl spoke. "So I know you can read at least." The comment came out as the backhanded compliment it was meant to be. Andie was a nice person, if you were in the squad or while she was around horses. She sat up and picked up the clipboard again. "And your surname name would be?" the question was pointless as the captain already knew the name of all the students at the school - it was her job.
In her personal opinion, both of the girls looked very promising and she couldn't wait to get started to see what both Davina and Adonia were made of. She reached out and touched her toes again before sitting straight up again, arched her back into a bridge and went into a backwards walkover.
*~*~*~*~*
Prudence Warner walked into the gym, her pink ballet flats didn't make a sound on the floor. She looked at the girls who were sitting on the ground. "Hello ladies." She greeted softly. "How are we all today?"

D.avina K.eeley Davina noticed Andie over-ride her question. But, she was head cheer-leader and had all the power in the world, for right now. Things might change when she saw just how much Davina brought to the squad, "I have had alot of work in dance, thought actual cheer-leading, not much," she knew being honest up front was the best bet, "But, I have been in dance teams that do some of the same tricks as cheering, and I have a loud voice," she threw in as a comical attribute. But that was true, and she wasn't afraid of holding back anything. She never got emabarrased and didn't give a hoot what other people thought about her. She simply nodded her head at the answer to her question.
Another girl walked through the door. Davina eyed the brunette, her eyes like a hawk as she looked for qualities better than her own, then offered a genuine smile, they were in the same situation after all. She glanced as Andie spoke, seeming a little less freindly with this girl. The way she spoke though, made her should have been born a blonde. Davina might do girly things, but she was by far a prep.
Suddenly, another woman's voice came to her ears and she turned her head. Who was that? She just returned a small smile, "Fine, thanks. Yourself?"

Adonia's smile fell as the cheerleader was more insulting than friendly. She didn't know how that was going to go down because Adonia was kind to everyone. She rolled her eyes letting her smile reappear. She wouldn't let the bitchy head cheerleader get her down. She was probably the best in this room and she knew it. Adonia had been cheerleader piratically all her life, as well as riding horses. Some would say those are two very different interests but Adonia thought that both helped each other very much. The work outs with horses made her stronger to do her cheering. She wouldn't have that particular advantage in this gym because everyone here rode horses, but she wasn't worried she still thought she was the best. Adonia reached out the tips of her fingers brushing over the tips of her shoes gently. Bringing herself up her hands above her head she straightened out her back.
"Mitchell" She said in the same girlish tone. The older women walked in she looked as if she were only a teacher. Adonia smiled up at her a twinkle in her eye and look of respect plastered across her face. " Fine and you?" Adonia said before returning to her stretching. Adonia cast a side glance at the other girls stretching they all seemed rather flexible but Adonia was the flyer of all the cheerleadering in her old school. She was the one that did all the flips in the air and what not. She had a pretty face too so that was always a plus for being thrown in the air. Adonia would get most of the face view, she liked being noticed that had to be her favorite thing.

Andie wrote down the girl's surname, she knew she wasn't winning any friends with the way she was acting, but she wasn't here to make friends, she was here to fit together a top squad. "Cheer experience?" She held up a finger before Adonia had a chance to even breath. "And I don't want to hear how you were the best of your last squad, I just want to know what you can do." She looked over as Miss Warner entered the room and graced them all with a smile and a greeting. "Hi Miss Warner." She beamed. "I'm so glad that you could fit us into you schedule." She lessened her megawatt smile as she heard her own words. Okay, now she was sounding like a suck-up who had never led a cheer team before.
Andie glanced toward the door, wondering if anyone else was going to join them. She was old school where the squad was the place everyone wanted to be a part of. She had done gymnastics for many years before she was introduced to cheering by one of her school friends. Her raw athleticism and flexibility made her an easy pick to have on any squad, and which finally led her to the captaincy of her last squad and then this one.
*~*~*~*
Prudence walked over and sat down in her own spot on the ground, she smiled up at Andie gushed over how happy she was that the woman could be there. "And breathe." Were her only words as she gave the captain a soft smile. "You are more than welcome and I'm happy that I can help out."

Entering the gym, Braelynn walked confidently into the gym. Her long, blond hair was pulled back evenly into a high ponytail, and the bangs were side swept and pinned behind her ear. She wore light green cotton shorts and a white tank top, topped off with her favorite white athletic sneakers. She used to cheer lead at her old school, but she was not counting on her past experience to totally get her into the squad. This was totally a different situation and she was not going to count on being on the squad just because she was in one before.
Spying the girl who appeared to be the head cheerleader, she walked over to her confidently with a smile. She had seen the way the girl had dismissed the two other girls, and she was not looking forward to being dismissed that easily as well. However, she was the lead cheer leader and what she said went. Smiling, she walked up to the girl and spoke her name in a confident tone. "Hello there, I'm Braelynn Owens, I saw the flyer posted on the board. I have cheer leading and dancing experience from my past, and I'm hoping things will work out.
She saw the other two girls stretching on the floor, and she turned, walking towards the floor as well. Taking a seat by them, she flashed them a quick smile before starting her stretching exercises. She reminded herself in her mind to continue breathing in and out, and stretched as far as she could when she breathed out.

D.avina K.eeley The brunette smiled as the girl who intorduced herslef as Adonia joined them. She was still waiting on a reply back from Andie, if she ever got one... Her eyes casted a glance to the door as a blonde appeared. She seemed almost too sweet to join the squad, like, is someone told her she messed up she would run up and cry in her dorm room all night. Davina smirked at how her own person would react. Her painted lips looked so pretty, but dirty words came out of them so easy. She offered a warm smile to the blonde, giving her guts for showing up. Behind it, hid the poison of a snake.

Andie jotted down Braelynn's name. "Yay, so I have at least one person here who I will have to fully train." Her tone was cutting, she actually preferred wannabes who hadn't cheered in the past, for the whole "if you ride a bike once..." saying. Every squad had their own way of doing things, and Andie like the way she did things and didn't want someone here trying to change things. Sure, her thoughts were more than a little unfair, but she was in business-mode and this was just how she was.
She turned back to Davina. "I'm glad you've done dancing, at least that'll mean you'll be fit. You too, Brae." She checked her watched and flashed a grin as she stood on her tip toes and clapped her hand. "Okay, ladies. We could be waiting forever if we wait any longer, so let's get started!" She beamed as she looked at each of the girls. "I normally like to start with getting you all to copy a routine I've come up with, but, I want to turn things around today! I'd like to open the floor to you guys, show me your best stunts." She held a hand up. "Hold that, show me a couple of good stunts. Normally when I say best, people tend to do their worst because they try too hard." She made an opening gesture with her hands. "Who's first." She sat down on a bench and crossed her legs gracefully as she rested her clipboard on her top knee, her foot bouncing gently.
