I harbor a love for Bashkir Curly horses (if you don't know much about these horses, google them!), I have only met one once, they have a special ability of not moulting, so people who are allergic to fur can often be around them. Recently, I have been looking into breeding horses, and all the issues associated with it, my aim is to be able to work on a TB racehorse stud farm after I have left school and done a BSc Honors. One thing I have come across a couple of times is Lethal White Syndrome. What worries me is the amount of breeders of horses which can carry this, that know nothing about it. So as a tear-jerker, here are two Lethal White foals, and as you can guess from the name, this is a lethal condition and affected foals are put to sleep.   |
