Stevie mounted her black mare, Belle, and settled onto her bare back. "You ready for a nice, quiet trail ride girl? It will be quite a change to all the training we've been doing right?" Belle nickered, almost as if in agreement but perhaps it was just the cheerfulness in Stevie's voice that comforted the black mare. Stevie gathered up the reins and nudged the mare forward. Belle took off like a rocket. "Hey! Easy now!" But Stevie didn't stop the mare. Perhaps it was stupid but it was what Stevie was thinking, a nice gallop with her horse. Stevie clutched her horses sides and leaned over her neck jockey style. Belle's mane whipped Stevie's face and her tail streamed out behind her. Hooves pounded into the ground, tearing it. Rhythmic snorts reminded Stevie about the track work outs and racing...how she missed the racetrack. Finally the path started to grow a little rough and rocky. "Easy now. Shush girl. Walk now." The black mare took a couple more strides before she slowed to a walk. "Good girl Belle." Stevie patted the mare who had hardly broke a sweat and leaned back to lay down on her horses back staring at the clear blue sky as the mare walked along.

Kellan was on a small trail. A grulla stallion under him. He came around a popular bend in the trail and pushed the stallion into a gallop. About five yards down the trail a coop was set up, the first jump of the course Kellan would be riding. As he got closer to the jump he used his crop and legs to push the stallion over it. The stallion of couse had other ideas. Upon landing the stallion slowed down and began to buck and rear, Kellan sat it threw and pushed the stallion forward. He had dressed the stallion up with some hoof boots along with jumping leg protectors and a shaped pad that sat under a cherry wood stained saddle along with a simple bridle. He was wearing tan breeches along with b lack feild boots. He wore a white tee shirt and some black gloves. His stallion rushed into a gallop. Kellan worked on stopping the stud. When they came out of that section of trail the hit a rocky trail. They shot into the middle of the trail almost running into a young woman and her mare. The stallion reared up and with the hills slant flipped all the way over. Kellan pulled his feet out of the stirrups and dropped to the ground rushing out of the way. The stallion landed, Kellan couldn't breath untill finally the stallion moved. The blond haired man rushed to the studs side. Grabbing the reins he helped the stu up. Once he was standing Kellan checked him over. He seemed to be ok, Kellan looked around for the girl he had seen making sure her horse hadn't been spooked.

"Such a peaceful day huh girl? No Lightning to deal with no unruly..." Stevie pushed herself upward at the sound of hoofbeats. Belle heard them too. The black mare did the first thing that came into her mind: Rear. Slender black legs pawed the air, reaching toward the heavens. "Easy girl, shh. Easy now...your not Lightning. Just some hoofbeats. Easy..." Stevie kept up a stream of soothing talk as the hoofbeats coming closer and closer. Belle was an ex-racehorse. She didn't like other horses running with out her being at the head of the pack. The mare danced on the tips of her hooves tossing her head and fighting the pressure that Stevie was putting on the reins. A grulla stallion and his rider came sweeping by. Stevie could plainly see that the rider was doing his best to stop the horse. Suddenly in a flash the stallion reared up, so high that he started falling backward. The horses rider dropped out of the saddle and Stevie held her breath. Belle bolted. Stevie was caught off guard but she pulled back on the reins and clutched desperately with her knees. "Belle!" Stevie said loudly to the horse and once again pulled back firmly on the reins. "Belle!" Stevie repeated. The mare snorted and slowed. Stevie trotted back to where the blond headed young man stood. "Is your horse alright?" Stevie asked concern showing in her voice. She eyed the stallion and Belle nickered, acting as if nothing had gone wrong. Stevie smiled. The young man looked almost as handsome as his horse. She chuckled to herself and patted Belle. No harm done right?
