Entering the main office, Callum thought again about the black gelding he had purchased on instinct on the way here. He had been intending to ride the academy's horses for a while, and then look for a horse, but he had seen the gelding being ridden in the field of a dealers yard he had driven past. The horse was being jumped rather argumentatively over some cross country jumps that must have been well over 4 foot. The horse hadn't gone much better for him, but he recognized talent when he saw it.
Shaking off the thought, Callum walked with his head down towards the door of the main office. He knew he needed to see the lady in the office, but he didn't know her name. This worried him, he didn't like introductions, and he wasn't good at remembering names. Seeing a woman sat behind the desk, Callum raised his head to say his rushed introduction. "Hello, I'm Callum. I was told to come here when I arrived". Callum stuttered it out quickly before recalling the bad news he had to give. "Oh, and I''m really sorry but I have brought a horse with me, if that's ok. Where can I put him?" Callum's head went back down as he looked at his shoes, worried he would be reprimanded for bringing a horse unannounced. He wondered if he should look around to see if anyone else was in the office, but he kept his head down...
