Katja drove her Ford horsefloat down the twisting road, worrying about the animals in the back. Her 3-horse lorry currently held her 2 mares, Misty and Lulu. Katja was always considerate to her animals, hence the panic on this road. She could see her Border Collie, Malty, on the seat behind her, wobbling all over the place! Reaching the entrance to Blue Ridge, Katja sighed, this place was more beautiful that the pictures she had seen. It was truly beautiful, the wonderful houses on the backdrop of the trails. Pulling up outside the main office, Katja jumped out, and let Malt out too. Climbing into the back of the box, Katja made quick checks of all her horses. Then she headed into the Main Office, and took a seat. Looking around she noticed there were a couple of people in the office, although none of them seemed to be the woman she was looking for!

Marie glanced round as a blond woman entered the room, a dog by her side. The dog, clearly a collie, ran over to her for a fuss. Marie petted the dog, and then looked at the woman. "Hi, I'm Marie. I'm guessing your new too. I love your dog"
Katja took a second look at the slight woman sat in the office. When she spoke, Katja listened quietly and then replied in her clipped German accent "Hello, my name is Katja. Thank you, Malty is a wonderful dog. I am here to coach the Eventing team. Are you teaching?" Katja whistled her dog back over, worried she was being too boisterous with the delicate looking brunette.
"I'm hoping to coach an Equestrian team too, although my experience lays in mounted games, rather than Eventing. I will also be teaching mounted games for anyone is interested as part of the Equestrian courses". Marie spoke softly, quite different to Katja's harsher sounding tones. There seemed to be a sense of attraction between the two women, but Marie chalked it down to the tensions of both being new.
