Anyone can join this class, there is a sign up in the main office but you are welcome to just join in too. You do not need to have learning difficulties to join, this level in this class is adapted to each individual as it will remain a small class. It may also be possible to take on students who are excelling far past the highest level English class, to give them more one-on-one structured lessons.
Yazmin hurried to the classroom to set up. She had just finished teacher her other lesson, and although she had a free period to set up in, she didn't want to be late. Her daughter, Jezabelle was 6 years old, and the second youngest student at the school. Although she did not have any learning difficulties, her age meant she was much better suited to this class than any other English class.
Entering the room, Yaz saw the walls were completely plain, in a faded light blue color. Making a mental note to repaint the walls before asking her students to do some work to put on display, she looked around at the desks. They were old-fashioned square wooden tables, which you could probably comfortably sit four people around. She decided it would probably be best to have the students sitting at a table each, moving into pairs if they were doing group work or their was someone at a close level to theirs. Yaz laid out a piece of lined paper on each desk, and a plain black ringbinder.
Finding a whiteboard on the wall behind her desk, she sat her daughter at a desk writing out the alphabet in both big and small letters, before taking a whiteboard pen from her bag and starting writing on the board.

This class may not all have the same level, so I would ask you all to take a seat on a table by yourself, and write down why you think you are suited to this class, and what you believe your level to be. This will only be read by me, so please write as honestly as you can. If this will cause you problems, raise your hand and wait for me to come to you. You can use your own folder or book if you have one, or use the folders on the desks.
ooc: Please write down what your charrie would write so I have an idea of everyones levels!
