Pysical Description: Leo has skin that is soft and the color of a freshly fallen snow. Her hair is jet black and sits in curls that are often pinned up or thrown into a bun. Her eyes are an amazingly stunning ice glacier blue. She likes to wear long flowy dresses but when she is working she sticks to corsets and skirts or jeans she also usually wears fishnet gloves that go up to her elbows or a cool pair of pretty fingerless ones that cover old scars that go up her arms.
Personality: Leo keeps to her self more then anything and she doesn't really like to talk to people all that much except for when shes working. She hates horses and being out in the sun so she is always inside or out with an umbrella so her fair skin doesn't get burnt. Most people look at her and judge her by what shes wearing and think shes some sort of emo freak but she is actually a quiet very caring person. Though the quiet part goes out the window the second she steps in front of a piano or micro phone. Music is her life and has given her the strength to carry on after all the bad things that have happened. That's another reason why shes rather quiet. Her life has sucked up until coming to BRRA and her past haunts her to the point of medication.
Background:
Leo Aries Midnight was born on December 24th in London England to Mag and Charlie DeVoe. She was an only child in a quiet family until her mother found out she was pregnant again. Leo didn't get why her parents were fighting so much about it, apparently it wasn't her dads baby. Her father left them and times got hard. They spent a lot of time in shelters and Leo was often put into group homes. Her baby sister was born February 12th and Leo loved her since she first saw her. Their father stumbled back into their life shortly after the baby was born and things were going fairly good. Leo and her baby sister Stormy got older together and then the fighting at home started again and the 2 would often run away. There was a small age gap but Leo refused to leave Stormy at home a lone because she wasn't there to protect her against their father.
Growing up Leo loved to help people. She got good grades in school and by the time she graduated at 18 she got a scholarship to go to Med School. This meant that she would have to leave her sister at home. Her sister was 13 at the time and convinced Leo that she would be ok at home by her self. Leo still didn't want to leave because she didn't want her sister to have to go threw the abuse that she took for the both of them but she was glad to finally be away from there. By the time she was 23 she had gotten a degree in nursing and was working on becoming a doctor when she got a call from home that sucked her world inside out.
Her father had beaten her sister to death and put her mother in a coma. Leo was insanely torn up about her sister being dead and on top of that she was dealing with a few problems on her own. She had always had the symptoms of bipolar disorder since she was a teenager but it was really starting to affect her lately. It was during one of her low episodes when she slit her wrists. She was admitted to the very hospital she worked at then stuck in the psych ward because she was hallucinating and she was still in a very manic depressive state.
She was sent to a rehab type facility where she learned to deal with her depression threw music and wrote a lot of songs. She was also put on Lithium and a bunch of other medication that has been keeping her stable and happy. She was released and still held all of her nursing information and abilities and was rather good so with a bunch of psychological evaluations they decided she could go back to work and found her a job in the country away from the city and everything else where she could attempt to restart her life.
