Full Name: Mischief
Nick Names: Missy
Student or Staff: Student
House (if student): Red Ribbon House
Age: 16
Ethnicity: White American
Gender: Female
Physical Description: Mischief has long, dyed black hair, and very pale green/bluey eyes. She is quite short, only about 5'3", and very slim, probably too slim. She is quite toned and fit, from dancing.
Personality: Very much a typical rebel, she feels the need to rebel against everything and although she is usually polite to teachers for example, she is not afraid to voice her opinion, and normally does so - regardless of the situation. With her friends she is a more careful about what she says, she holds her friends loyal and would hate to upset their feelings. She is the sort of person who only has a few close friends, and will protect them fiercely.
Missy is bi-polar, which means she has massive mood swings. When she suffers from depressive episodes, she has extreme anxiety - leading to frequent panic attacks, as well as depression. Her manic episodes are more common that depressive ones now she is away from home. In this state she has a low attention span, speaks very fast and without pausing, and is just what you would call hyperactive. She also has Hypomanic episodes, a mild version of manic episodes. Missy is meant to be on medication for this, but she often forgets to take it and enjoys the hypomanic episodes and feels she does better in life with the decreased sleep and other symptoms that she also sometimes deliberately does not take them.
Missy also suffers from dyslexia and dyscalculia. She is, however, remarkably bright. Dyslexia affects her ability to read and write, a particular part which affects her is Auditory Processing Disorder - confusing words which sound similar when writing, reading and in her case, rarely when speaking. Dyscalculia explains her ability to do high level maths, but she often gets confused with simple maths and things like times tables. She has a fairly mild form of Dyscalculia.
Background: Mischief was born with a different name, but lets get the obvious question out of the way! At 16, she changed her name, by deed poll (so it is her actual name now), to Mischief. Born to rich parents, Missy was expected by everyone to be the perfect, popular kid. Money was never an issue and her parents tried to be "friendly" simply by buying her everything they imagined she would want. Ignoring these things contrinuted to how she is today, the clothes she wears and the music she likes. Her parents tried to pressure her into ballet, she did street dance - although she now enjoys a range of dancying. When she didn't like an idea she rebelled against it any way she could - dying her hair, acting up, wearing clothes her parents didn't approve of, not eating properly and questioning her sexual orientation. The only thing that stuck with her from her parents was a love of horses. Although her parents weren't horsey, it was the "in" thing to have a stable full of riding horses, and ponies if you had children. When Missy became involved in riding her parents started pushing her to compete to a high level, which caused her to turn her back on horses. At 16, and away from her parents influence Missy has come back to horses and a fresh start at Blue Ridge Academy. A few things have happened in her past, but she doesn't share them so willingly.
Misc.: Doesn't own a horse or any other animals, although would like to own a cat.
