Jack is fairly skinny, always with some brightly colored hair. Fit - in the sense of exercise! - he spends a lot of time working on his abs, and it shows. He is tall and lanky, around 6' tall. Naturally pretty pale skin, he doesn't go in for the tanned look. Dark brown eyes - which he hates - are always either hidden behind colored contacts or big sunglasses.
Personality:
Loyal. Once Jack really trusts someone, there is not much you can do to change that! He is really protective over those he is close to, don't mess with them! It takes him a long while to trust people though, just because you are his friend, does not mean that he trusts you - beware. Trustworthy. If you have earned his trust, then you can trust him with your life. The sort of guy his close friends will tell their biggest secrets to, and know that he wouldn't dream of telling anyone. Sweet. Underneath that hard exterior there is a sweet romantic lurking. Now to try and find him.
On the other hand....Rebellious. He enjoys getting into trouble, tell him to do something and you can almost guarantee he will do the opposite! He has a bit of a bad reputation with a lot of the teachers, but if you can keep him focus he will actually behave. In the same way, he can be one to spread rumors if he doesn't like you, but he will never be the one to start a rumor about someone. Flirtatious. To the extreme. He will flirt with anything human - male of female. Most of the time he doesn't mean much by it, he just enjoys flirting! If he isn't flirting with you, it is most likely a sign that he actually does like you. Outgoing. He is not afraid to say what he thinks, and often speaks without thinking. This can cause issues, but you can rely on him to tell you the truth about a matter.
Background:
Jack grew up in Oakland, California, to a single teenage mother, who was also an alcoholic. . His early years were fairly uneventful, his mother was always out and social services kept a close eye on him. When he was thirteen, he started going out when his mom wasn't around, and was quickly introduced to the punk scene. This was quickly followed by drinks, then drugs. Drinking has been with him since then, and he often gets drunk as a social thing, and when he is depressed. Drugs stayed with him until he was 17 years old. At 16 he had left home and was living in squats, drugs were his consolidation. His mother happened upon him passed out in the street, and in the year he hadn't seen her, she had got a good job and was now offering to pay for him to go to rehab. He spent almost a year in rehab, and has been clean off drugs for two months before he was released. The first six months in rehab were a real struggle for him, he was almost clean after 3 months, when his mother lost her job, got very drunk and killed herself. A breakthrough was made though, a special part of his rehab included a section of working with animals, and he ended up with horses. Falling in love with a magnificent stallion, he found the willpower to carry on and get clean. The stallion was classed as a useless horse, to dangerous to be of use to anyone. Jack started to work with him and slowly he came to trust Jack, and now behaves sensibly for everyone, although still is best with Jack. As well as caring for horses he learnt to ride, and shows a lot of talent, particularly in show jumping. When he left rehab, he was offered the chance to buy the stallion, which he took up without a second thought. Now he found himself in the care of social services, who took one look at the horse in tow and sent him to BRRA, where a number of care kids with animals seemed to have ended up.
Misc.: Also owns a large Husky dog - more information coming soon. Hopes to get permission to keep his horse as a stallion at BRRA, but will geld him if he has no other choice.
