His compact, delicate cranium tossed in excitement as he trot aside his master. The small gray was high stepping, his flowing mane bumping against the side of his thick neck. Although his coloring was classed as gray, the pony had an obvious white shade to him. He gave an ecstatic whinny as his pasture came into view. He heard his owner gave a delighted chuckle, he had never seen his pony this excited. The reason little Question was so happy you ask? No, not because of his pasture mate. Sandy was a pain in the neck. They had new neighbors, one of which was a foal. The gelding loved his new company, racing the youngster up and down the fence. His mother was just as playful, her powerful hind legs being thrown into the air in a frenzy. His new companions came into view and another whinny ripped through him. He heard his owner speaking to him, but right now Jay wasn't on his mind. HEY! GUYS! I'm coming now! he shouted toward Heartbreaker and Lyric. He froze momentarily, there was a new horse in with Lyric and her offspring. His head tilted in curiosity, but the open, intelligent expression of the new comer encouraged the gray. Jay finally opened the gate for him, and Question stood still long enough for his master to remove the head collar. His rump tucked into himself, his small proportioned audits aimed forward. He picked up the grumble coming from his pasture mate, Sandy. Your so stupid sometimes, Question. he heard, and then something about childish geldings. He took no notice and took off toward the fence, his banner streaming out behind him. He made a beeline toward young Heartbreaker. QUESTION! the youngster squealed, his hind pillars thrown up in an excited buck. His mother tossed a smile in Question's direction but stayed at the new comer's side. Question slowed to an easy trot, his inquisitive nature taking over. Hullo! I'm Question, what may I call you? he asked the dapple gray. The older male seemed to regard the excitable gelding and then a smile spread across his maw. Stellan. It's lovely to meet you Question. he offered, a sort of hidden humor in his expression. Question wasn't affected, Heartbreaker was already pulling at the pony's mane. Come on Question, chase me! he whined, and then jumped as Question dared him through the fence. The youngster took off immediately, Question in tow. As soon as Question nearly had his target in his grasp, the paint threw himself to the other side, chuckling as he went.
Sandy regarded the four through narrowed oracles. The sour mare wasn't sociable and hated being around the playful Question. She gave a furious snort as Question whizzed by her, darting out to plant a nip on his rump. He squealed but didn't react harshly. He wasn't like it. She could feel oracles upon her, but she didn't know where from. Her eyes went to Stellan and Lyric, but they were both engrossed in conversation. A shiver ran down her spine, but she tried to ignore it. It was obvious she was unsettled.
TAGGED! Anyone!
WORD COUNT! five-two-three
MUSE! Meh
NOTES! I wanted to role play some of my horses, especially Question and Sandy as they have such strong characters. If someone could bring in a few horses that would like to target Sandy, please do! Or, a horse which is infatuated with her, also reply! ^^
