Everyone else is doing it so I will join in, here are a couple of photos of my boys Cedar Reba This is my number one baby, he's at the ripe age of 13 (he's a November baby). We connect on a level that no one else can understand. This is Cedar after two hours in the show ring. As fired up as he was while in the competition he was this calm afterward (red is 1st place over here). SamsonThis is Sammy. He is at the wonderful age of 14. He gets a little neglected compared to Cedar, but he's sweet enough that I can just jump on him bareback after months of not being ridden. These are my two favourite Sammy photos. The boy holding the brush was 4 at the time (he's now 6). His mother is petrified of horses, glad that fear didn't carry through to her son. And yes, no one is holding the lead rope If anyone is interested, here are the links to their pages on the official racing site: Cedar RebaPocket the Black (Sammy)

Aw! I love your boys! Sammy looks like such a ham! In that first picture he has super wide nostirls!! That means he has a great ability to learn? He is so cute with the little kiddies.
Cedar has a long tail! Both of your horses do! Makes me jealous lol. Yay! You guys won first place!
I couldn't get the links to work, says something about timing out.. But ! retyped their names and got it too work.

Sammy is lovely He just has some quality in the whole butter wouldn't melt in his mouth thing in his face that makes me go 'aww'. Well done Cedar for winning first In England it's got really confusing with what color ribbon is first, some places have red as first and some have blue. :/ What was the competition?

It's funny Rissa, I've never noticed how big Sammy's nostrils are! Now they are all I look at when I see him. I always tell people that Sammy is so smart he's stupid - which is the honest truth. The show we had done is called Winter Woollies. It's like a show for all us losers who don't normally show but like to get out there with out all the need to get too dressed up. The main rule with the show is "no plaiting" - which suits me perfectly!! As for the class that we won, it was in the woolliest class - Sammy got 3rd, but the girl who rode him got to keep the ribbon - she was like 12 and handled him so well when he was being so fresh (as he can get a little stallion-ish around mares). So, pretty much I got first place for having the shaggiest horse. And the green ribbon (3rd) around his neck I think is from the Open class (there were only three of us in it).

It's funny Rissa, I've never noticed how big Sammy's nostrils are! Now they are all I look at when I see him. I always tell people that Sammy is so smart he's stupid - which is the honest truth. That's how I feel about Bo sometimes! But his swirl is high on his forehead, and kind of muddled. Warrior's and Cowgirl's are the ideal I like in a horse personality. They are the type to learn quick and be able to focus on you or given object (say cow). That's so cool! I was in an open show once with Toby. There were only three horses and we got third, so I got a ribbon! I was so proud lol. Then Roscoe, was a stallion at the time, as we only had him and Toby, so hadn't found the need to geld him yet. He was the only stallion, so he was the only one in his class and got a huge trophy and first place ribbon. Lol. I want to show more, I want to show Cowgirl in halter, as she has a very pretty stance. Would have to be in open class becuase I could only register her with NPHR(national pinto horse registry). And I don't want to show with a breed association, though Bo and Warrior are registered, as I am not a member of either as the fees are ridicoulsy costly!
