Cloudy has a bit of an attitude problem, he likes to be in charge and when he isn't he throws a fit. He's gentle with Alisha and Javier, but other humans annoy him. He has little tolerance and doesn't really like to be told what to do. He knows he's beautiful, and plays up to it immensely. Yet, he knows he has to behave when being ridden. His movements are fluid and he has a great deal of concentration which makes him a perfect horse to show with.

Cloudy had been living at the riding stables Alisha and Javier attended. He was privately owned and Alisha was obsessed with the beautiful gelding. His owner had him trained in dressage, but what drew to girl to him more was the fact that he was a trick horse. She thought of him as majestic, the way his body was thrown up into the air into a rear on command. The way he sat as if he was a human. She was hooked. Finally the owner decided to sell him, and Alisha jumped at the chance of buying him. They have only been together a year, but Alisha had always been sneaking in to feed him and even being allowed to ride him a few times. She has been improving his dressage, but loves to mess around with him. They can often be seen in the pastures going over routines Alisha has put together.

Locket is a nervous mare, having been mistreated before Javier bought her. She's sweet and gentle when you get to know her and she has only just started to tolerate Alisha. She loves to be around people once she trusts them, but not too many. She is fearful of other horses, yet not as much as Cloudy. The gelding bullies her, and she is very intimidated by the smaller, yet bulkier equine.

She is very sure footed and knows what is asked of her, making her okay to show when she's not too nervous. She focuses on one thing at a time, which can sometimes be a down fall.

Locket was born to a female Hanoverian breeder, whom wasn't very pleased with the leggy filly. She kept her locked up in an old horse trailer, feeding her little and just enough to survive. Javier had been visiting the farm looking for a horse to buy when he heard the distressed calls from the mare. He located her and saved her, reporting the woman to the police. The mare has been deathly afraid of women, barely tolerating Alisha as she has gained her trust. But Javier had broken her himself, and taught her to jump. They aren't as advanced as many riders, but they get by.
