This ten year old bay roan gelding is a Quarter Horse bred, raised, trained, and worked on the ranch Eliot himself was born and raised on. He goes by the name Ranger, and has no show name because he's not a show horse. In fact, he's probably not a pure Quarter Horse... He might have some Mustang and maybe a streak of Brumby in him. The point is that Ranger is purely a ranch horse, meant to check fences and herd cattle, not prance in some ring and look pretty. He's a down to business horse and is about fifteen to fifteen point two hands. Eliot never bothered to measure him.
