Jack
Mason
Jack Tullie Irwin is a creative young lad from Australia, sixteen years old. He is five foot eight, charming, and sweet. Outgoing and friendly, he tries to be everyone’s friend and big brother. He’s an easygoing fellow, and is pretty much a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. Jack is a water-lover. He’s an amazing swimmer, and he’s dabbled in surfing back home. He loves all animals, and knows a lot about them as well. Only his little brother, Wes, knows more about them.
Mason Robert Irwin, better known as “Wes” is a quiet boy, shy and observing. He’s not talkative unless it’s his brother, and most people think of him as awkward. At fifteen, he measures up to five foot six. He’s lean and lanky, and very good with all animals. He doesn’t like to talk about himself, or talk at all, as stated. This may be because he is gay and doesn’t want anyone to know. Of course, his big brother knows, and as a result, Jack is very protective of him.
The boys’ mother worked in a zoo and often brought home animals in need of care. He and his brother have been around kangaroos, wallabies, emus, and even baby crocodiles.
Their mother also brought home a pair of wild brumbies. A trainer was hired, and the two animals, two geldings, later tested and revealed to be brothers, were soon trained. One was given to Jack and the other to Mason.
The boys quickly became horsemen. They got part-time jobs on a ranch in Australia and perfected their roping skills with their brumbies. They started on the ranch at age ten and nine, riding Australian Stock horses, and at ages thirteen and twelve, their horses were deemed safe enough to ride.
They came to BRRA to try out for a roping team here with their two wild-caught horses. They’ve saved up their pay and each bought themselves a new horse, an Australian Stock Horse to add to their herd, the ones they worked with on the ranch.
