Mounted Games! (Team and Equestrian Course)

Hello everyone. I am Marie, a new teacher here at Blue Ridge Riding Academy. Let me tell you a little about myself. I have competed extensively, since I was a young child, in Mounted Games. After the end of a relationship in England, I wanted a change. When Blue Ridge approached me, I jumped at the chance. I will be running a Mounted Games Equestrian Course, which you will just need to add to your timetable and turn up for the first lesson. There will be more information about that in a bit. The other thing I hope to start in the academy is a team for Mounted Games competitions.

If you are interested in joining the team, then signing up for the course is not necessary, but it useful. You will be expected to attend team training sessions though. To sign up for the team just fill out the form below, and keep an eye out for the first team training session.

If you wish to take part in the course, you need the use of a pony under 14.2hh. If you do not own a pony within that height then you must be willing to use one of my ponies, or one of the academy's ponies.

I'd be very happy to ride one of your ponies/a school pony if you feel that Grit's too big. He's a Dales Pony, so he's quite chunky!

Experience, General riding: I've been riding for three years, and have owned and been working with Acorn for about a year now.
Experience, MG: Never done any seriously before, just a few mock games in my riding lessons.

If yes, horse's experience, general and MG: He's done everything - jumping, cross country, dressage, and mounted games. He's competed in Pony Club mounted games competitions, so I think he knows the ropes.
