Physical Description: Drew is a very simple girl, both personality-wise and physically. She has long, curly brunette locks, and sky blue eyes that you could stare at for hours. At 5'6", she is tall, but not sky-reaching. When she was young, people used to tease her for her height, but the rest soon caught up. She has a slim figure, and has muscular legs due to riding and running. She can do the plank for 3 minutes, she boasts.
She has naturally full lips a light shade of red, due to her mother's exceptional genes. She hardly uses mascara, as her eyelashes are long and dark. At most, she'll put on black eyeliner on the water line of her eye, and a colored eyeliner on the above her eye with a touch of foundation and/ or lip gloss. She likes to look her best, but she has realized from a young age that makeup does not equal beauty.
Personality: Drew believes in being in touch with her mind, and she has a great knowledge on the reasoning as to why she does what she does. She is very smart with her academics, and takes her riding very seriously. Her motto is "Mental health first. Then education, then riding."
Drew loves to have fun occasionaly; don't mistake her for a goodie two-shoes, but partying has gotten her into trouble in the past. She is a loyal friend, brutally honest, and will never gossip about a friend. She has morals, and intends to keep to them.
History: Seventeen years ago, Drew Weld was born into the world. She was bright eyed, happy, and curious about the world. Intelligent from a young age, English was her strong subject. Her parents loved her, but found they couldn't give her everything she wanted. And what she wanted was a horse.
Drew was introduced to the riding world at the tender age of ten. It was a shock for her, as the equestrian world has many ups and downs. Winning shows was great, but riding everyday was hard work, especially for someone who had to work to pay off her lessons. The barn soon learned to love her, allowing her to hack the lesson horses and trusting her with feeding the horses. She was passionate about what she did, and loved every second. But she still wanted her very own horse.
Around the age of 15, Drew's life came to an abrupt halt. She was diagnosed with depression and put on medication after being hospitalized for having a breakdown. Her parents decided they needed to do something, and they bought her a horse with the money they hardly had. Drew was in love with that horse, her dream horse. Scarlet was perfect in every way, and she decided she wanted to apply for boarding school after finishing sophomore year at her public school. She wanted a fresh start, and her parents were willing to give her that (with a little help from Financial Aid, of course.) When Drew came to the campus of Blue Ridge, she became obsessed and thankfully, she received her acceptance letter soon after. She had to leave her horse behind in her sister's capable hands, but she hopes riding many different horses will be great for her riding.
