.Dylan Thomas Andrews.
Full Name: Dylan Thomas Andrews
Nick Names: Dyl, by his mom and his cousin Paige only
Student or Staff: Student
House (if student): White Ribbon
Age: 16
Ethnicity: English/ French
Gender: Male
Sexuality: straight
Physical Description:
Dylan inherited all of the better characteristics in the Andrews family. He stands at 6'2" which towers over many of his friends in his Virginia home. Long legs make up most of his height which is filled by the toned musculature of a teenage athlete. Dylan's structured physique holds a tanned complexion, perfected from summers in the sun working the family stables. Shaggy blonde locks cover this boy's head, but it never grows to be much longer than the top of his eyebrows. Dylan is very particular about his hair length because it bothers him when people's hair covers their eyes, though he would never admit it in a million years. He has rustic hazel eyes that look out beneath long lashes.
Style is one thing Dylan does well without really trying. He is most often found wearing a pair of worn in jeans that are faded and crinkled but still hold to be fitting around his slender waist and athletic thighs. Dylan owns a plethora of old band t-shirts, which he wears on a daily basis. His favorites are a red U2 shirt from an old record store and a weathered gray Beatles shirt he found in his attic. To complete Dylan's signature black leather jacket. His outer shell exudes a selfish and dangerous attitude, but few people get to really see the artsy side of Dylan. He walks around with a standard arrogant expression on his face, no particular emotion but a sense of disinterest. The only times he really shows emotion is when he is alone with his horse, his family, or a woman who has captured his heart.
Personality:
Dylan has an introverted personality. Ever since his parents divorce he hasn't come out of his shell much to anyone. Sure there were one or two flings with girls around town, but he never could be himself with them. Dylan is an artist at heart, but acts like a bad boy because thats all he really knows. He is not afraid of people unveiling who he truly is, but Dylan is shy enough to keep things to himself most of the time. This leads into problems with his peers because he comes off as standoffish or as a bully some of the time which doesn't resonate well. If one were to really get to know Dylan they would figure out that he is creative and talented, and very thoughtful and kind toward them, but he has yet to find someone who can bring these traits out in him. Most of Dylan's outward personality is shaped from his past which troubled him into privacy.
History:
Dylan grew up with his mother and father in southern Virginia on the coastline. His parents got into the horse business early on which Dylan inherited as he grew older. The Andrews stables bred Thoroughbreds for racing, but when a horse did not succeed the family would train it for eventing. This is how Dylan developed his love for horses through working at the barn and training off the track thoroughbreds. Dylan found his other love in middle school, jazz. He picked up the saxophone and played in the school band for a few years when he quit the band before his freshman year in high school. Though he doesn't play formally, Dylan plays his saxophone in private to relieve stress through playing jazz or blues. He doesn't mention that he plays to anyone, and no one knows except for his family.
His freshman year was when everything changed because Dylan's parents went through a bad divorce. It hit him the hardest because he didn't know how to react to it so he just hid his emotions and acted as if everything was fine. Dylan's mom left him and his dad with the stables. The two of them knew they couldn't handle the farm on their own so Dylan's dad hired grooms and farm hands to help. Once the farm hands were hired, Dylan got territorial of the stables and started to get in fights, verbal and physical, with the new help. Appalled at his behavior, Dylan's dad sent him off to the boarding school that he heard of through Paige, Dylan's cousin, in hopes that he would be reformed enough to be civil at home.
