Physical Description: Tall and domineering, Alistair has a striking look. With deep, soulful looking, blue oracles. His chiseled, handsome features and thickly muscled gives him the definite Tall, Dark and Handsome cliché. His dark chocolate brown locks, almost black, are in a ruffled or neatly styled manner and his chin holds a stubble almost always. He reaches 6'3, and can hold himself in a threatening manner which is natural. He doesn't mean anything about it, all of the time, anyways.

His fashion sense is smart causal, usually a shirt and jeans. While working, it's jogging bottoms and a t-shirt or shorts and t-shirt, depending on the sport. He has never felt the cold, so doesn't wear coats. His shoes are usually sneakers or leather dress shoes.
Personality: Alister has a very thick shell. It is rarely penetrated, and to hide his actually sweet nature, he has a sharp tongue and sullen expression. He doesn't let anyone get close enough to see the real him. The only time he is pleasant is when he is teaching. He has a way with the students, maybe making up for the fact that he lost his little girl. He's strict, and when he scouts a particular talent in a student, he'll offer extra practices with them.

The male is a charmer, and with his smoldering looks you wouldn't really think he needed more. But, if he wants a woman, he'll have her. He isn't as direct as some people, he loves the chase and a stubborn, strong willed vixen is his favorite. But, he's sure to give them the night of their life when he wins them over. And then, he just leaves. He doesn't know that he has broken so many hearts, and truthfully, if he did know, he wouldn't care.

Underneath the stony, rude shell, he's a nice enough man. He doesn't speak much, but he does have a very expressive face when he wants to. He's very caring, but not loyal. Even when he was with his girlfriend, he was always cheating. He does have a conscious though, he does feel guilty. Only when committed to someone though.

Alister has seemed to fill the hole in his heart with animals. He has many pets, and loves them all. He's a real animal person. They are the things that keep him sane. But, there is still a place to be filled, and it is most definitely human shaped.
History: As a youngster, Alister grew up in Ireland. The male lived there until he was fifteen. While living there, he was a perfectly normal, happy teenager. He lived with his mother and father, along with five siblings. He had a huge family. And then, his father got offered a better job in New York. All the family was happy, except Alister. He kicked up a fuss, ran away three times and begged to stay and live with his grandparents. Finally, he was persuaded to go by his big brother. He had always been close to him. The first couple of months went smoothly, Alister becoming an established member of the sports teams at school. He had always been into his sports, especially Rugby and Football (Soccer). Then, he fell in with the wrong crowd. Alcohol and Drugs became his life, his hopes of being a professional football player shot. He gained a girlfriend who was just as bad as himself. He got her pregnant when they were just seventeen, and with them both hooked on drugs by then, there was no hope. They ran out of money, his family had disowned him and hers likewise. Then, he had been out for the night with his mates, and come back to his little daughter dead, with her mother beside her. He picked up the note she had left, and it read this:

Dear Star.

Life has gotten too much for me, and I know you wouldn't want to be burdened with little Amy so I have taken her with me. We have gone to another place now, please do not be sad. We'll always be your little angels, and will always be looking down at you from up above. I'll love you forever, just remember your dreams. You don't need the drugs, you're better than that. Make amends with your family, do yourself some good.

He had cradled their lifeless bodies for hours before calling the police. After the funeral, which he told nobody about, he went cold turkey. He was just nineteen. Once he was clean, he reconnected with his family, one at a time. He left his oldest brother until last, he felt as if he had let down Lee the most. When Alister told them what had happened in three short years, they all broke down. Alister didn't though, he vowed never to cry again. Nothing could be as bad as losing his girlfriend and daughter, but he was close to. With encouragement from his family, he took up a course in teaching Physical Education. He passed it with flying colors and began teaching in various schools. When he heard a job was going at the academy, he jumped at the chance. Not much of a rider, but he does have a horse and rides for pleasure, he knew he and his herd of animals would settle well here. He doesn't plan on divulging in his messy history, but will the right person come along and drag if from him. To help him cope with losing the love of his life, he seems to jump from woman to woman, leaving despair in his wake. Hopefully someone will try and tame him.

Personality: Red is Alister's partner in crime. He has a beautiful nature. He loves everyone and wouldn't hurt a fly. Very affectionate, he craves attention and will stop for everyone to fuss him. He doesn't care. His favorite thing to do is come to class with Alister while he teaches, which is a rarity but not unknown. He also loves being in the barn with Dawson, Alister's Saddlebred. He and Frankie, Alister's other dog, are very close. The pair sleep close to one another as they came from the same shelter and past owner. Alister believes the pair were abused and seek each other for comfort. They flinch whenever he raises his voice. Red can been seen as dopey, but is actually very clever. He's also very protective, especially over Frankie. He doesn't like anything advancing toward her in a threatening manner.
History: Not much is known about Red's history, only that he was collected from the sanctuary by Alister along with Frankie. Then he was shy and withdrawn, he is now far from his former self and now very wonderfully natured. He's come on in leaps and bounds.

Personality: Frankie is quite shy and a little nervous. She's often not sure what to do with herself and looks for Red for encouragment. She's very loving though and wants to do her best for everyone. She has a habit of whining when nervous and doesn't like to be left alone. She gets distructive then. As long as she's with the kittens or Red, she's fine.
History: Like Red, not much is known about her history. She has formed a bond with Alister, but not in the league of Red. The pair do get on very well though, and understand each other.

Personality: Apricot is a very mischevious feline and he gets himself and Kiwi into trouble a lot. The feline is very sweet though, and you cannot stay mad at him for long. He loves attention and adores sleeping on Red's back when he is tired. He and Kiwi are inseprable. Apart from this, his character is still developing as he is still very young.
History: Alister has not long bought him and Kiwi from a breeder, so not much has happened for him to have a history yet.

History: Like Apricot, she's not been around for long so there has been no time for a history.
