SHOW NAME: Beloved Origins BARN NAME: Origami AGE: Twelve GENDER: Mare COLOR: Black BREED: Welsh Cob HEIGHT: 15.1 HH PERSONALITY: Origami is a docile mare who can sometimes have a fiery out burst. When she gets wound up, you know about it. Usually though she is placid and almost bored. She doesn't like to be cooped up and winters out all the time. She likes company, especially canine and has a soft spot for Lance. She loves to play, even with Joe when he lets her. To ride, she's bomb proof. Nothing fazes her and has almost expert concentration. She still gives the challenge of testing Joe to see if he's paying attention and often throws him off for the fun of it. When she wants to go, they have a battle if he doesn't want to. Yet, they are on the same wave length. They know each other in and out. HISTORY:Origami has been with Joe since she was just a filly. She was his first horse and they have taught each other. She has always been gentle with him until she was certain he could take her winding up. They have stormed through competitions and luckily he has never out grown her. She has been with him with every horse that has come and gone, but she has remained there. And probably always will. SHOW NAME: Lucky Star BARN NAME: Star AGE: Seven GENDER: Gelding COLOR: Bay BREED: Welsh Cob Section D HEIGHT: 15 HH PERSONALITY: Star is mean, he hates having people around and will make it known. He nips, he kicks and bites when someone gets too close. The only person he has ever behaved for was his original owner, the woman who hand raised him. He's very head shy for some unknown reason, but Joe hopes to get him out of it. When he gets to know you better, he seems to lighten up a little. He has a playful side which shines out when he really knows you well. He likes to pull at the stretchy cord that is attached to some coats and jackets, pulling them back and then releasing so that it flings at the person often hurting them. His favorite trick is trying to hide in the corner of his stall when being tacked up, and also breathing out when you are trying to do up his girth. He's got a big appetite, and has weird tastes. His favorite snack? Salt and Vinegar Crisps (Chips). He's inquisitive at times, and becomes very very pushy. He's clumsy and will stand on your feet purposely if he feels your out of line. He won't allow you into his stall if he doesn't want you there and will stand at the door and not budge how ever hard you push him. To ride, he's also a pain in the backside. He is lazy until you get him going. It takes a lot to get him into a canter, but once he's at it he's much better. He loves to jump, his eyes light up when he sees a course. But, he'll still play up. If he gets too excited, he goes into a bucking and rearing frenzy. If he's mad, he does the same thing. When he really cant be bothered to do anything, he'll just throw you off. Then, when he's showing, a more relaxed and composed equine takes his place. He still plays up from time to time, but he's much more of a pleasure to ride when in the ring.. Or on the course in his case. HISTORY:Star was born and bred in Wales. He has been trained well in a small stables by a woman who raised him when he was rejected by his mother. The gelding has won many cross country competitions with a young male rider whom has now given up on the sport. As he is so highly ranked, his owner was willing to send him anywhere in the world. Joe is partial to a good Cob, just look at Origami, and jumped at the chance to own the bay. He knows that Star has attitude problems, but this sold the gelding to Joe. He needs some challenge, and Star is the perfect candidate. He now has two horses to get to know, and cannot wait to start with Star. DISCIPLINE: English, Cross Country. OWNER: Joseph Aaron Haven **My old cob being brought to the academy. ;3 This is his actually him, personality to picture ^^
