PERSONALITY: Digger has a very sort of independent personality, yet he relies on Summer a little more than he likes to think. He has a very set mind and when he wants to do something, he will do it. He's intelligent, but not a smart as he thinks. He likes to be aware of his surroundings and is very, very sure footed. He has a knack for getting Summer to concentrate on what she is supposed to be doing.

Digger doesn't mind people, but he's not particularly fond of them either. He'll tolerate them for a certain amount of time, but when the get too much, he'll give them a nip and retreat away from them. It's a different story when children are around. He has all the time in the world for them. He knows to be gentle and allows them to pull on his ears and tug his mane. Summer finds it adorable and her niece spent many a days with Digger.

HISTORY: Digger has been with Summer for three and a half years now, used to be owned by her fathers friend. The gelding had been trained in Western, but Summer mainly rides English and trained him to do both. He has won a few competitions in Cross Country, and does well as a Western Pleasure horse, even if it is rare for the breed.

BARN NAME: Fable

AGE: Twelve

GENDER: Stallion

COLOR: Leopard Pattern

BREED: Knabstupper

HEIGHT: 15.3 HH

PERSONALITY: Fable is a bossy stallion, but doesn't really mind what is going on. Once he gets over himself, he's a sweetheart. You just have to assert your dominance with him. He is very much a goof ball, not the most clever and forever pulling funny faces and doing silly things like the pictures show above. He really is a character and he has a thing for hair, always lipping at it and snuffling into it. Luckily, Summer has no problem with this as Digger does it too.

He has very good floor manners when he sets his mind to it, but grows bored easily and gets destructive. If you keep him busy or are with him the whole time, he'll be fine. His old owners would turn their back for a second though and he'll have a broom in his mouth and tossing it around like an excitable colt. He can be a bugger to ride too, always pulling his head down to graze while out on the trails, and refusing to go when he feels like it is time to stop. Then, when it gets to the show rings, he completely changes. He becomes arrogant, yes, but it shows off his immense beauty. He does well in jumping and dressage, focusing on the task at hand instead of getting distracted by every little thing.

He adores all creatures, of all shapes and sizes and isn't as bossy with other horses. Humans he likes to have the advantage over. He's as docile as any gelding with both mares and geldings, even other stallions. He shows no need to push them around, he enjoys their company.

HISTORY: Fable comes from a very well respected breeder of the Knabstrupper breed, and Summer had been searching through their website when she found this beauty up for sale. She jumped at the chance of buying him, deciding that Digger had had enough of being ridden every day and she knew that Fable would be a welcome addition to the herd. She will be putting him up for stud, and showing him every now and then, but he'll mainly be a pleasure horse with jumping thrown in there.
