Show Name: N/A Barn Name: Rusty Age: 14 Gender: Gelding Color: Red Dun Breed: Quarter Horse Breed Registry: N/A Height: 15.3 HH Personality: Rusty can be quite a grumpy gelding when he wants to be. Usually though, he is quite content to do what ever is asked of him, work wise. To handle, he's a very stubborn gelding who believes that he knows best and everything should be done his way. To ride, he is a dream. Probably because he actually enjoys being ridden. Human contact otherwise is a big no in his books. He tolerates Corey to a point, but even his owner gets too much at times. He's a solitary animal who only just puts up with Cracker, Corey's mare. His ground manners are not the best, but they could be worse. He nips, but never kicks. All in all, he has a few attitude problems that Corey hopes to straighten out, but deep down he is quite a lovable thing. When he wants to, he'll let Corey give him attention for hours. He quite likes being groomed. After a while, he will tolerate other people if he sees them on a daily basis. He can be somewhat pleasant. Let's just say that if he was human, hardly anyone would be on first name basis with him. History: Rusty was practically given to Corey by his first boss. The man wanted to get rid of the grumpy gelding, who was his daughters' horse, when his daughter went to university. Corey, who was used to Rusty's stubborn attitude and cold nature decided to take him. Only paying $50. His boss knew he was going to a good home and didn't mind at all on the price. In fact, it was Corey who insisted he pay. Since then, Rusty and Corey have a firm relationship where they respect one another. Not overly affectionate with Corey, Rusty in his own way obviously loves his owner and is perfectly happy with Corey, Cracker and Benji. Discipline: Western, Pleasure mostly. Has raced barrels for fun with last owner. Owner/Rider: Corey Wray

Show Name: N/A Barn Name: Cracker Age: 8 Gender: Mare Color: Red Roan/Dun Breed: Quarter Horse Breed Registry: N/A Height: 15.3 HH Personality: Cracker couldn't be more opposite to Rusty if she tried. This energetic mare is always the life and soul and is easily one of the sweetest horses you'll ever lie eyes on. She loves human company and likes nothing more than having people scratch between her ears, rump and flanks. She can be quite cheeky, stealing buckets and grooming tools, and sometimes doesn't realize her own size. She treads on your toes a little too often, but never on purpose. Never has she bitten a human, nor kicked. She adores Rusty, but has also made it her life duty to follow him pretty much everywhere around the pasture, which annoys him no end. She really is a little darlin' and you can't help but smile when she comes towards you for a fuss. To ride, she is like a bullet when she gets going. There is no stopping her when she sees a free, open field to gallop in. Her favorite places are easily trails and isn't really one for flat work after her ranching background. She can get too excited at times, and has been known to throw in a little buck or rear on occasions, but nothing too sever. All in all, she's a wonderful horse to ride and you'll always have fun while riding her. History: Cracker was bought by Corey from his last boss when he first started at the ranch. She'd suffered a leg injury and was being retired from her duties on the ranch. The pretty, excitable mare caught Corey's eye instantly and he fell in love with her, and her with him. He knew he couldn't let anyone else have her and offered $120 for her. The rancher took the money and was actually glad that Corey was having her, she was a personal favorite of his but he couldn't keep her with no use. Since then, Her and Corey's bond has gone from strength to strength. The only time you can really tell she was injured is when she trots, and it's pretty difficult to get a seat on her then. But apart from that, she's perfectly healthy and the old injury doesn't bother her in the slightest. Discipline: Western, Used to be used for herding, now just pleasure. Owner/Rider: Corey Wray

.Izzy. Show Name: N/A Barn Name: Izzy Age: Unknown, looks fairly young though Gender: Mare Color: Light Bay Breed: Mustang Cross Breed Registry: N/A Height: 15 HH Personality: Unknown yet, Not enough time has been spent with her. Izzy seems wary, but also curious. She's protective of her colt, but willing to let people near when she's sure he's not in danger. History: Corey basically found Izzy on the side of the road, tied up to a tree with a very young colt at her side, when driving back from visiting his family. The mare had a sign hung around her neck saying 'Free' and her's and the colt's names and that is it. Corey luckily had his trailer with him, having taken Cracker and Rusty with him back home, and was able to load them easily. Izzy seemed relieved to be in the trailer and out of the heat, and drank gratefully from the water pail, she is also quite lame. This led Corey to believe she'd been there a while, and he didn't really understand why nobody else had picked her and the colt up. He's now bringing her and the colt, Baker, back for a check over and is planning to keep them. Discipline: Unknown Owner/Rider: Corey Wray
