Renee Lise
Full Name: Renee Rose Lise
Nick Names: Renee, Ren
Student or Staff: Student
House (if student): Red Ribbon House
Age: 14 1/2
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Straight
Physical Description: Renee is one of those so-called picture-perfect girls; soft brown hair, pretty hazel-green eyes, rosy face with a welcoming smile. She has a natural flush on her warm face, and her hair falls in a slight wave down to the space just below her shoulders. Renee has rosy cheeks, pale pink lips, and pale skin. She has a small scar trailing up the side of her left forearm, left from a riding fall only a few months ago, and she wears it proudly.
Renee has a petite frame, but don't be fooled. This girl is strong. Her legs and arms are toned from hours of training on the back of a horse. Her grip, although firm at times, is light and cautious. Her middle bows in a slight curve, framing her body nicely. Her tall legs bring her to the height of 5'5, and she has longer arms to complement her height. Renee has a heart-shaped face that is almost always basked with a rosy glow. She has very expressive eyes, so you can defiantly tell her emotions. This girl doesn't normally wear tight-fitting clothing over her 109-pound frame, but why not? This girl wants attention sometimes.
Personality: Renee is a girl that is hard to figure out. Her personality varies, and she can be unpredictable. But Renee is normally a very laid-back girl. Mainly, Renee is a fun-loving daredevil, and has a headstrong streak. Naturally curious, she tends to get her friends into lots of trouble, but she can weasel her way out of almost anything. Renee can be snappy, and sometimes tends to get a little too expressive about the things she loves. Although, she has scars from her past, and refuses to talk about her... sibling.
Headstrong, curious, and sharp-tongued describe Renee well. She has a witty mind and a sharp tongue-but she can be serious and calm. She takes action quickly, and can be drastic at times. She can anger easily, and tends to jump to conclusions. When she's furious, beware. She will attack, but usually doesn't...as long as her friends talk her out of it. Although she tends to be a bit crazy, Renee is very down-to-earth and can be very kind. She can be an instigator, and can be extremely convincing, but she usually only uses them along with her charm to get out of trouble.
History: Renee was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and was born around horses and her parents were horse-people. She lived on a racing farm, but she was drawn to English riding from the start. Renee grew up on a small farmhouse, and had a sister, an older sister, who she admired. Her sister was 15 when she was 6, and they spent every day with each other. Renee's sister was named Grace, and she was the one who taught Renee how to ride. They shared secrets, and grew very close. When Renee was 10, and Grace was 19, Grace was exercising a particularly difficult horse on the track. It snatched the bit and sped around the track, Grace fighting to regain control. The horse careened into the fence, and Grace catapulted over the broken fence and into the center of the grass. The horse was seriously injured, and Grace was killed. Renee never recovered fully, but moved on and now lives life like her sister would have wanted.
When Renee was 13, she and her family moved from Louisville, Kentucky to Blue Ridge. Renee turned shy and after a few months, was clarified as a loner. Her life wasn't all that bad, though. Renee's parents had kept most of their horses and had continued the racing. One day, though, Renee's parents Gwyn and Jake came back from a horse auction with a new horse. Renee was instantly drawn to the horse's clean muscles and lines, strong legs, and proud expression. She wanted this horse, but because she thought that the horse was a racer. Renee was happily mistaken. This horse, called Awaiting Strength, was for her. And he was a jumper. Renee was overjoyed and spent every waking day with her new horse, training and riding.
On her 14th birthday, Renee was told that her and Aro and her cat, Sly, would be going to a riding-boarding school. Renee was exhilarated. This school, BRRA, sounded perfect. No one knew what happened to her sister, no one would give her sympathy or easy treatment. A few months before she arrived, she was riding Aro and he spooked, charging towards the barn. By the entrance, Aro skidded to a stop and Renee flew off, cutting her arm on a rock. Her parents ran over, terrified, but Renee was just scratched along with her arm. She sat up, looked from her parents' faces to Aro's smug one, and Renee laughed. After getting stitches on her arm, Renee hopped back on Aro's silky bare back and rode. What was the point of getting her arm fixed then not riding after? Renee told that to her parents that night when they scolded her for riding straight after her arm got fixed. Renee, a few days before she came to BRRA, took Aro out for another ride when she met up with some boys from town. They laughed at Aro, and called him a mule. Renee snapped. She flew off Aro and tackled the boy, fists flying. She came home with a sense of triumph-and a black eye. Now, she's coming to school with a fading black eye, and she hopes it'll look....tough.
Misc: Renee is a bookworm, and absolutely is obsessed with Harry Potter-almost as obsessed as she is with horses. She loves to be a total spaz and is looking for that friend she'll never lose. Her cousin is Luna Forrest.
