description:
Bella is a lanky, uncoordinated teenager. This all disappears when she rides however. She has black hair, but her natural hair colour is chocolate brown. Bella has chocolate brown eyes, with chocolate brown, with just a hint of green around the edges. She's not tanned, or any of that. In fact, Bella is quite plain compared to other girls.
Bella's preferred choice of clothing is skinny jeans, converse and a t-shirt, but black is her favourite colour. So most of her clothing is this colour. She is slightly of a tomboy, preferring not to wear anything that resembles a dress or skirt. Her formal clothing, when called for, is specially made for her. Bella usually design's these herself, knowing what she wants and if she will look good in it.
Her riding clothes are usually cream or black breeches, polished long boots and a short sleeved shirt in summer, or with a light jacket in the cooler months. Bella always keeps her habit clean, and creates a good impression to those around her.

Bella is as sarcastic as they come. She doesn't believe the saying, "Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit," but don't let this flaw put you off. Bella is also very kind-hearted. She often puts other people's needs before her own, and chances her own happiness for others'
Bella is also a feminist. It's not that she doesn't like guys, but finds them to be slightly daft. To prove this she sometimes just goes all out to confuse them. Bella enjoys other people's company as well as her own. Mostly her own, because some of her relationships have gotten her finger's burn't.
Bella doesn't have a short temper, but when she does lose it, you better watch out, 'cause it can get ugly. It takes a lot to get her mad. Betrayal, dishonesty and cheating are 3 things that she can't stand, 'specially from her friends or close family.

Relationships:
Bella and her twin Andrew are the oldest children in the family. They also cause the most trouble at home. She and her father are very close, and apart from Andrew, trusts him the most. She and her mother don't really see eye to eye, but it has gotten better recently.
Bella's father is a successful businessman, and travels a lot. Her mother is a doctor. They have always been a close family. Growing up with 3 brothers has always tested her patience in the best of times. It has also made Bella a slightly toughened character, but not 'butch'.
Bella's relationships with guys has either been short and brief, or long and happy. She recently broke-up with her long term boyfriend, and Bella doesn't want to enter another relationship just yet.
History:
Bella has had a pretty normal life. There has been very few upsets, but one changed her life forever (explained later on).
Bella started riding when she was 4, but more for fun than anything else. She started riding competitively when she was 8, on a small Dales pony. However, living in such a small town had it's drawbacks, such as travelling further to shows and lessons. Yet her father wanted to give his only daughter the world, and so spared no expense in regards to her riding.
Before the accident
Bella got her first horse, a small Thoroughbred, when she was 15, and their bonding was a slow process. The horse had been slightly abused, and this haunted both of them. Bella's father wanted to sell him, but Bella refused. She knew that they would find a connection somehow. So Bella endured the bucking, falls and embarrassing moments with broken pride.
After the accident
On the 8th of May 2009 at 21:00 was the day that Bella nearly lost her life. The family had dinner in Seattle to celebrate the twin's and her mother's birthday. Bella opted to drive with Andrew, as the other car was full. On the outskirts of town, a drunk driver T-boned into them, into Bella's side of the car. The force of it left Bella unconscious with various broken bones and cuts. With fluid on her brain, Bella was rushed into surgery. It was a dangerous operation not to say the least, and there was a chance that Bella wouldn't make it out alive. She did however, but didn't open her eyes until nearly 3 months later.
If Andrew wasn't at school then he was with Bella in the hospital. He still blames himself and became very overprotective of Bella. Peter Pan. the Thoroughbred, realised that his cargo was precious, and with time spent with Pan, their bond grew stronger than ever. He still acts up once in a while. The only side effect from the accident for Bella: scars on her arms, and severe headaches some days.
Bella needed to escape Forks. The gossip was driving her crazy, and she just wasn't being included into anything. Her friends were scarce those months she was recovering and Bella gave them up to be a lost cause. Nobody really knew the truth of what happened that day. So Andrew is going to another boarding school in Kentucky, and Bella packed up her horses and has arrived at Blue Ridge.
