On route to the barn, Cara spotted the float, her float parked by the barn. she frowned slightly, wondering why he'd left her the float and not the vehicle ((can't decided whether I want a Jeep or something else yet)) that had towed it. Shaking the question from her mind she walked over to the float, knowing that she should at least carry in the saddles on the way to see her precious pony.
Opening the tack compartment on the side of the float, she removed the mare's purple Bentley Slip Not grooming kit and two covered saddles. The one with the black cover - her Wintec dressage saddle - she balanced on her right hip. The next with the purple cover - a Wintec 2000 that she used for everyday riding - she lifted onto her left hip and carried both into the tack room.
It didn't take her long to find the locker with her name on it. Carefully lowering the GP to the ground along with the grooming kit, she opened the locker and gently placed the dressage saddle onto the top rack. Picking up the other saddle, she placed it on the bottom rack, leaving the middle rack empty for the mare's jumping saddle which was still in the float with with a silver cover.
Closing the locker, she picked up the kit, headed out of the tackroom and down to find which stall her Avelignese mare was in.
