Kasabian is a highly strung gelding who is also very opinionated. He will make his dislikes well known and can throw strops that will last for hours. He is submissive around other horses though, and does take a lot of telling offs from Daniel's other horse. The same can't be said around humans, he challenges Daniel as much as he possibly can. Though, that's probably because he knows how to press Dan's buttons. His stall manners can't be faulted mind, he knows to keep still and to behave when being tacked up. Though a bugger, he'd never want to hurt a person.

To ride, again he can be fairly highly strung but he does calm down. He's extremely responsive, so he doesn't need a lot of leg for encouragement. He'll have days where he flat out refuses to do anything, and those days are the bane of Dan's existence. Other days, he's like a speed demon and cannot be stopped easily. Competition wise, he is usually on his best behaviour though they have had days where Dan has been furiously thrown because Kasabian can't handle the atmosphere. That has happened once, though he has had other off days.

History:
Kasabian was specifically bred for Daniel's grandmother, whom had been looking for a horse for her grandson. Many jumped at the chance to breed an Arabian for her, knowing that Daniel would be showing it and would bring money to them. Dan's grandmother eventually settled on Kasabian when she saw him, knowing that he'd be perfect for Dan. He worked hard with Kasabian, and they built a strong bond though the pair are often challenging one another. The breeder's prediction of Kasabian being a sort of champion was correct, and Daniel competes mostly on his handsome Arabian, they are a hard pair to beat.

Personality:
Tyke is generally quite a quiet mare in her stall. She doesn't complain, she's happy to be by herself until Dan arrives. She doesn't make a lot of noise generally, but if she senses Dan near she'll strain over her stall door and demand that he comes to her. You will occasionally get a snort out of her, or a squeal if she's telling off Kasabian, but other than that she's almost silent. Her manners while being tacked up could be improved, as she can become impatient, but there aren't many faults to her stall manners.

To ride, she gets very frustrated easily. If she cannot do something straight away, she gets annoyed. There have been occasions where she's flat out refused to do anything after a certain amount of attempts. Then, when she does get it though, she's a dream. Dan has only competed on her once, and she did fairly well though the crowds freaked her out a little. It's something he needs to work on with her.

History:
Tyke has only been with Dan for just over a year, she had been a new purchase for him to bring on. She's the horse he has the most to do with during his stay at Blue Ridge, his grandmother is hoping that it'll keep him focused on the horses. So far, they've come on pretty well but they do clash because she gets so frustrated when she cannot do something right. Dan has fallen in love with her though, and she him. She has a little infatuation with her owner.

Personality: Thor is beautiful, but he really has no clue. He's not vain, and would much rather be covered head to toe in mud than be groomed. He's cheeky and friendly, and is all round a pleasure to deal with. He can be a little bit excitable, and doesn't really realise how big he is. But he's cute, and you can forgive him because he really doesn't mean to hurt anyone. He's also a fast learner, and is very willing to be taught new things. He wants to learn and does well in his training. Under the saddle, he is very smooth and delightfully responsive. Dan really doesn't think it'll be long before they are competing.
History: Dan heard about Thor over his summer holidays. His grandmother, in touch with a friend living in America, had mentioned the young gelding and that he was being sold on for further training and with hopes of a permanent home. Since Tyke and Kasabian were doing well in their competing, Dan decided he wanted something new. A new challenge. And Thor fitted the bill perfectly. He's really hoping to gel with the handsome gelding, and knows he'll round off his senior year perfectly.
