Daisy, a Shire registered as ‘Lily of the Valley’ is a ten year old maiden mare. She’s a giant, standing at a full 17.2 hands, but she doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She’s well-put-together and has average bloodlines. Daisy’s a large boned girl and can look quite intimidating. Her coat shines a glossy faded black and her feathered stockings and wide blaze contrasts nicely to her base color. She’s had ground manners drilled into her, as with her large size it’s easy for her to overstep the boundaries without meaning to. Daisy is a very willing mare, sweet and calm, like most draft horses. She’s good with children and is extremely patient. She’s trained to drive and rides both western and English styles, though she’s fairly green when it comes to riding. Her filly has recently been weaned so Daisy is once again ready for the class. Daisy is owned by the Academy.
