Willow Maya Carré
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I wanna drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow
Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me, no one knew me
Hello teacher tell me what's my lesson?
Look right through me, look right through me

FULL PERSONALITY ? Willow's overwhelming characteristic is probably shy, although she will speak willingly in front of those she knows and adults, it is always in very soft, very gentle tones. She is most shy around her peers, especially those she doesn't know well, or the ones who have a reputation for being cruel. Willow tends to avoid situations where she would be alone with such people, and worries incessantly about such happening. She worries about a whole range of other things to, homework, friends, teachers, animals, you name it.
With her friends a little of a hidden bubbly personality shines through, and she is fiercely loyal of her friends. If someone gives her a chance, she makes friends quite easily, ,but Willow would never try and make her way into an existing friendship group. With friends - or anyone else - she cannot stand arguing. She isn't very good at it, and it upsets her greatly. As a side-track, she hates being shouted at or reprimanded - even over something simple. Willow is very polite towards adults, regardless of how well she knows them and /or trusts them.

FULL HISTORY ? Willow was born the third child with two slightly elder sisters into a French/English family living in France. Before she had started school, she had another two sisters and her father had passed away. With her mother left penniless - the family hadn't had much money beforehand - the youngest two daughters went into the care of social services. Aged 2 months and 1.5 years, they were adopted together very quickly, and the remaining three siblings and Suzette lost contact. Suzette hung around in France until Willow was nine, then the family moved back to England. Suzette's parents took on the eldest daughter (now aged fourteen), after said daughter had a large row with Suzette. With just two children aged nine and eleven, Suzette started making a little progress and found herself a job. It was, however, one that required her to frequently be away from home. Willow was always closest to her eldest sister, and enjoyed these times as she was allowed to stay with her grandparents, where she started to develop her love of horses and learnt to ride. The other sister hated their grandparents fiercely, and spent the time in foster care. A year later, Willow was living with her eldest sister and grandparents all the time, and her other sister was adopted by the foster parents she had stayed with. Suzette disappeared with a new husband weeks later.
With her grandparents, Willow started to slowly come out of her shell and her great love of horses was apparent. Although her grandparents were certainly nowhere near rich, they could happily afford to keep a number of equines, and Willow soon had a pony of her own. Never being pushed, Willow started to compete in local show-jumping classes, working her way up to competing nationally at some of the UK's top shows. Her eldest sister left home when she was eighteen and her grandparents both deteriorated. All the horses apart from Willow's was sold, and the next year her grandmother passed away. Her grandfather was greatly affected, and taken into a care home for the elderly. He was allowed to remain Willow's legal guardian on the condition she went to a boarding school. Money had become less of an issue now, and her grandfather wanted her to be in the best possible place, choosing to send her across the sea to America to board at Blue Ridge.
