Sea is one of the most chilled mares you will ever meet. She takes everything in her stride and never flinches or spooks. Sea wouldn't dream of doing something like bolting or bucking, despite her young age. Often described as an Old Soul, she may not have a particular talent but she will try a hand at anything and has a love of cross country.
Although Sea is well behaved for everyone, she is extremely loyal to people close to her. Once you have spent lots of time with her, and have a strong bond with her, she will protect you with her life and actively try her best for you, rather than simply follow instructions. Even if she doesn't have a strong bond to you, she willingly does what she is told without a complaint.
Sea does get rather moody when she is in heat, although she is fine when she is in foal, or with a foal. Her moodiness simply consists of being unwilling to work, and her normal responsive paces become sluggish and lazy - but she still does not act out.
History:
Bred at a top Gypsy Vanner stud farm, Sea was sold on as a two year old, where she had her first foal before being sent to professional trainers to be broken in at 3 years old. She has never been badly treated, just had a pretty simple life without any difficulties. She spent a couple of months being used as a trail horse by the people who broke her, which helped contribute to her personality of nothing bothering her.
Sea was returned to her owners when she was around 3 years 6 months, and they put her in foal again before deciding they couldn't afford her. Advertised online, Yaz fell in love with her and decided she would be the perfect horse for her to further her riding skills.
Discipline: Any English really, loves trail riding and cross country.
