History: Simbad was bred by Jesse’s parents on the ranch, and has been one of the hardest animals Jesse had to train. The horse has always challenged him every step of the way, but does adore being ridden. He just thinks he knows best. Jesse does have a large amount of affection for the troublesome gelding though. He would just never make it known to Simbad as he has no doubt that the gelding will use it to his advantage.

History: Jesse hand raised Palette when her dam sadly passed during birth. She was also a twin, but the other foal also did not survive the birth. Though it was a sad loss, the King family were just glad that they had Palette to show for their hard work, as her dam was a favourite on the ranch. Palette has done very well as a hand raised filly, and just adores the company of humans and other horses. She’s going to make a wonderful horse as she grows and Jesse is very excited to start working with her.

History: Speck was born at the ranch and one of the first horses Jesse ever properly trained. She’s always had a firm place in his heart and the pair is very close. She used to compete as a barrel mare with Jesse’s sister until she had a bad accident on the ranch when she got her leg trapped in a fence and panicked. She now walks with a permanent limp and is mainly used as a pleasure horse. She needs regular exercise though, which Jesse is willing to provide, otherwise she seizes up and her leg grows painful.
