.Natalie Walker.
Full Name: Natalie Regina Walker
Nick Names: Natalie
Student or Staff: Staff
Position Desired: Biology Teacher/Western Pleasure and Gymkhana Instructor
Age: 26
Ethnicity: german, irish
Gender: female
Sexuality: straight
Physical Description: Lightly curled blond hair went down past her shoulders, daring green eyes opened widely to the world. Soft, pink lips were traced with the hue of a darker color, which spread out cleanly to lightly tanned, lightly freckled skin. Average nose didn't purtrude too far from her face, nor was it too wide for the rest of her looks. She was on the short side, standing at about five feet, four inches, and weighing 130 pounds.
The woman usually wore modest clothing, usually blouses, skirts and heels when teaching, and jeans, t-shirts, and cowboy boots when giving a riding lesson. When not on the school's grounds, she usually wears anything from dresses to pants to shirts and skirts, but usually always wears heels when appropriate.
Personality: Natalie is an overly sarcastic, intelligent, and usually friendly young woman. She takes pride in her work and appearance, and almost never looks disheveled or frumpy. She is usually referred to as the "chill teacher," because altough her strict rules usually limit the amount of fun a student can have, her sarcastic sense of humor keep things light and fun. Her ethics are the same when instructing a rider, but is usually easier on her riding students.
Out of work, Natalie is far from stoic and downtrodden. She always is the life of the party, always drinking a tad more than her fair share. She is friendly, a natural extrovert, and quickly makes friends. As far as relationships go, she doesn't exactly take part. She's never been in a serious relationship with anyone, and doesn't exactly intend to be in one any time soon.
History: Natalie was born and raised in a backwoods town in southern Oregon. Her family owned the local stables, offering beach rides and trail rides and riding lessons to the many tourists coming to the lively little town in the summer months. She remembers all of the horses they had; Monroe the Quarter Horse Percheron gelding, Poci the paint Mustang mare, her own first horse Lou, the Quarter Horse mare with the huge blaze. There were almost too many horses to name at the moment, but Natalie's life was good and grand. She rode for hours a day after school, gave lessons to the younger kids, led trail rides down the beach or through the hills.
Natalie's high school experience wasn't particularly sad. She actually did pretty well for herself. She had a large circle of friends, did well in class, excelled in science and drama classes, but never had a boyfriend. While all her friends were walking with their boyfriends, Natalie would rather walk by herself to and from classes, not be walked to class by a boy, not to be found kissing boys behind the school's huge bushes. Natalie graduated with honors, and went straight to a four-year university.
To help herself through school, Natalie gave lessons five days a week at one of the local barns. At this time, she had two horses, Lady and Butch. It was at this barn, two years after graduation that she came upon Dusty. Dusty was a young horse at the time, about five or six, that had no human interaction since his arrival at the stables two years before. He was put out into a back pasture, fed daily, and let to his own devices. Natalie found an interest in Dusty, and began working with him. To her surprise, Dusty was far from wild and stubborn, and took quickly to mild ground training and some major grooming sessons. It took about a year, but soon, Natalie began training Dusty under saddle.
It was two years after Natalie bought Dusty that she was offered a job at a boarding school in Kentucky. Natalie got her teaching credentials a few years before, as well as beginning training gymkhana. Natalie readily accepted the job, said goodbye to her small hometown, and made way to yet another small town in Kentucky, all three of her horses in tow.
