Physical Description: Rita is a uptight and upkept. Rita is thin but not unhealthly. She is always seen with her hair up and either tightly put into a bun or pulled back into a pony tail. She has light brown hair and warm brown eyes, they are hidden behind glasses most of the time. Her wardrobe consists of shirts and dressy shirts. You can rarely find jeans and plain shirts. She has two pair of sweatpants for around her apartment.
Personality: Rita is uptight and doesn't like the fooling around. Underneath her hard protective shell is a soft inner Rita. If you can break her you can get to know her better. She has two piles of books in her room, ones that she has finished and the ones she has yet to start. She is strict and in the eyes of most mean. But if you know the real Rita that isn't true, she is kind, caring, laid back and loving.
As for dating, she isn't one to date because she is convinced that there is no man out there for her. She is looking for a man that shares the same things that she does. She doesn't like, or thinks she doesn't like men that have mor stuff in their lives then books and history and that crap. So in all she is looking for a man that is too comfortable with himself to do anythig interesting with their lives, quite like herself. The man she loves is her cat who is named Gabe.
History: Rita was born to Mr and Mrs John Shaw. Rita's mother was named Anne and her sister had gotten the name Lillianna. As the sisters grew up the two were born into money so they had everything they wanted, each daughter had a horse or her own. Rita had a chestnut Arabian and Lilli had a grey Thoroughbred. The sisters did everything together, they rode, they cleaned, and the hung out together.
The day cme that Lilli's grey Thoroughbred, Prince had to be put down. Since Artemis, Rita's Arabian wasn't that old she got to keep her and because of this Lilli grew jealous and the sisters grew apart. When the one came Lilli moved to the other side of the country, by this time she was taking in and fostering animals, so when Rita had to put Artemis down, Lilli was nursing a litter of kittens back to health. Lilli gave the eldest kitten to Rita to ease her pain and take her mind off of Artemis. Rita named this kitten Gabe.
Then the time came that Rita got a new horse, he was a going away present for Rita when she told her family that she was moving to Kentucky to teach, little did he family know it was to be a librarian. But she named the stallion Prince to remember her sister's horse. Now she lives in the Brown Ribbon House with Gabe and Prince is in a barn not to far away. Rita is now the librarian. She isnt the most liked teacher in all of campus.

Rita named the little tomcat Gabe.
