Humans
Okay, you can have as many humans as you want, just RP with them all regularly.
*Note: You must have a guy character after creating two female characters. This is so we are not over populated by girls, which, lately it seems to be the other way around!
Please remember, this is a realistic rpg at a prestigous academy. Someone who parties, goofs off, and never goes to class, will be kicked out. Chances of a big time drugie making it are slim to none, unless they are going through re-hab.
You must fill out the form I created for your character, and I must accept them BEFORE you can post anywhere else on the site (except the OOC).
Your humans can either be students or staff of BRRA. No exceptions.
Keep in mind that this is a realistic RPG set in present day. I don't want magical, paranormal, goblin-demon-vampire stuff.
Horses
Your character can own no more than 4 horses at a time. (Students may own up to 2, staff may own up to 4)
No one may bring in more stallions to the academy.
Your horses will be boarded in the two barns. The first letter of the horse's registered name decides which barn it is in! Stallions are only to be boarded in the Brown Orchid Barn, and broodmares must be boarded in the Evening Primrose barn.
When creating your horses, please title the thread 'Your Charrie's First Name, Horses'. It make the site look cleaner, and if a member leaves it's eaiser to find the horse threads and remove them.
ex. Joe's Horses
Once I have accepted your character, you will get your own subboard saying 'Member's Name Horses' for all your characters.
Your character get's one 'free' boarded horse to bring at the academy. Any additional horses brought in will cost a one time fee of $100
Pets
Pets are allowed in all dorms and apartments.
Students may own one small pet, but these may not be snakes. Students are not allowed to have dogs as pets.
Brown Ribbon Apartments(staff housing) are allowed two small animals, or one dog.
You may bring your own pets, or adopt one from the animal shelter.
General
Post Office- Your character can have a mail box. If they have one, I will make some letters that your charcter gets.
ex. Free saddle coupon
Free Feed coupon
offers for two to go on a cruise or disney land
Some kind of disaster from family
If you like surprises, get a mailbox. =)
Main Office- I would like all students to check into the Main office upon Arrival!
Gossip Banner- This local school news report is generally published every two weeks. It digs up dirty tales and rumors of students and staff, whether it be true or false. So, watch out! Or you just might find your name in the headlines.
Credit System
This is a newly added feature to the academy, and it applies for students only.
Each year, (we go by a real physical year on this site) a student must take a total of 9 classes. The student may take:
4 core classes
2 regular elective classes
3 equine courses/electives
Now, each student will get to pick out their own classes for the year. In order to pass to the next grade, you need 27 total credits, and you have to have 3 credits for each class. How do you get credits? It's easy! For every classroom thread you complete (that is when the professor dismisses class), you get a credit. If you win at shows, or do an 'extra credit assignment' or even get down on your knees and plead to your teacher at the end of the year when you need that one last credit, you can get credits!
Money System
This is another newly added feature.
For every post you make, you get $5. We don't care about every single detail, like you bought a new pair of jeans, but for larger things, you have to have the money to buy. Here is a list of what you can only buy with the money you earn:
1. A horse at the auction (price depends on the horse)
2. For any character bringing in an additional horse to the academy must pay a fee of $100
3. Pet from animal shelter
