Toby knows his stuff about government, at a younger point in time, he wanted to be a lawyer, but settled for a teacher instead, less work. When the man is not in a classroom, he is either riding his horse, or drinking beer with friends.

Appearance>> Toby will never be found in anything dressy. He wears whatever is comfortable for him, jeans, t-shirt, and usually a straw hat. Not your average professor attire, but then again, he's not your average professor.
Toby stands around 6'4" and weighs around 200 pounds. He is not fat, but muscular. He always has facial hair, mainly a short beard. He has dark blonde hair that curls at the ends. His blue eyes are humorous and carefree.

Full History>> Toby was born to a doctor and professional reiner. His father's family had all been medical school graduates, it was almost a tradition. Mike Matthews had carried it on, in hopes of having a son that would also carry on the infamous name into the medical world.
His mother, was a professional reiner. She went to a equine college in Ohio and was taught under the best names in the reining world. She has won many awards for reining, even bridleless reining. She wanted her son to be a real cowboy and master the arts of horse training and reining.
As a result? Well, you'll see for yourself. Toby was the only child, his mother was 37 when she gave birth to him, not exactly a prime time to have a kid. They were afraid a second child would more than likely suffer from down syndrome. Toby was taught to ride at an early age. His family had a nice riding arena and barn on their 220 acre horse farm. His father always pushed him to get good grades. Which, he was a good kid in school. He had straight 'A's up until high school.
Toby's family had money. His first truck was a new jacked up dodge that got about 10 miles to the gallon. He thought that being cool was more important than school, and money grew on trees, at least in his family, so he quit trying. Toby would fly from there upstate home in Georgia, down to Oklahoma for reining competitions most weekends. His name became well known among the regulars.
With a 'C' average among graduating, the man went to a local community college and got a degree in agriculture, getting a 4.0. This opened the door for him to attend an even bigger college. Toby didn't want to ruin the family name for his dad's sake by not getting a master's degree or docterate, but he refused to go into the medical field. No one in the family had ever been to Harvard, and that where Toby went. He got a degree in Law and Criminal Justice, going to be a lawyer, but wanted more free time, so settled for being a professor.
He landed his first job at a college in Georgia, two hours from his parents house. He rented a nice apartment blocks from the school, and went to a Gentleman's Club that was down the street. Here, he met a young woman, 19, at the club one night. She had worked there for a couple months. Toby would go there knowing what nights she worked just to see her. Their private affairs growing. One night, Candy (her stage name) was threatened by a man to sleep with him. She refused and was slapped across the face. Toby came to the rescue and needless, to say, Candy went home with him that night.
The two are still together, planning a wedding in a couple months.
