The History
Basic History:Cherokee was born and raised on Dan's mother's farm. It took his mother some convincing to sell the horse to Dan instead of some high paying buyer, but she finally gave in. At age 6 Dan bought and trained him in Western Disciplines. They have been competing in shows for years together winning various small events.

Major was trained early in life in Barrel Racing, but when he was 5 Dan bought him and created a special bond between the two. The gelding has been working with Dan for 4 years.

The History
Basic History:Vega was sold from farm to farm at a very early age, around 1 year old for 3 years. Once she reached a stable that was training hunter/jumpers she stayed for 2 years to be trained. The two years went by then she was sold again. Proceeding to be sold from farm to farm, then was up for sale at a market where Dan was skimming the horses for sale. He saw the frightened mare and decided he might be able to help her. She was a very angry, scared mare at first.
One day Dan was tacking her up for some western training. As he tightened the girth, she swung her head and bit his side. But after a few years she calmed down to the mare she is now.
