Nina's Journal[/color]
Dear Journal,
I decided to write down how my life is here in Blue Ridge. So far it's been great. I remember how I arrived at Blue Ridge and knew nothing at all! Yet now I've met lots of new friends! Such as Sara, Kallie, Tyson, Annabelle, Casey, and lots more!
Sara Lyena and her horse Rolo and Balian which I met on a trail ride. While I was on that trail ride I as well met Kallie. I met Rolo on the trail ride, and met Balian during Natural Horsemanship. Yet I didn't just meet Kallie and Sara, I met a few more people than that later on in Blue Ridge.
Such as Tyson, and his horse Fli. We met in the White Oaks barn and met again in person at Tastee's resturant. We had fun trying to start conversations, and getting to know more about each other. Yet at Tastee's the waiter wasn't so nice and helpful. He took our orders, but in a snobby way. Tyson and I seem to just ignore it and he even joked around a bit once in a while.
I met Annabelle while riding on the trail as well. We talked a bit and I'm sure we became fast friends. I as well met up with Annabelle while heading to the Roscoe's arena to do some ground work with Ratio. Yet I didn't get to do any dressage with Ratio that day, because the arena had a bit of drama happening and I kind of joined in.
Casey was in the arena as well. There was this guy named Dustin who screamed, almost shouted at her. So I backed her up. That's how we became friends. She lives in the dorm next to my dorm with my roomate. So I checked up on Casey to see if she was okay. We got to know each other better and we became best friends. I took Casey with me to Toronto, since she said she wanted to visit the country side. Yet I was glad I brought Casey along. We had a lot of fun, even though it was only two days. I think Casey had fun as well, and we got over our nervousness of flying on planes together.
I was glad my family signed me up to attend Blue Ridge. I spent more time with Ratio and felt more relaxed. The staff is nice and so are the students. When I leave Blue Ridge, I'm going to miss it a whole lot! Yet I'm going to keep you posted more about my time at Blue Ridge later in the year.
