Okay, so, I have gotten a horse now, that I believe is the ONE since Toby. His registered name is like Smhoalla Sugar Moon, or something like that. They have been calling him Moon, but I want to change his name.
He is a two-year old Appaloosa gelding. I know that is young, but he is such a sweetie! He is so calm, he was trained by a John Lyons method called Round Pen Reasoning. He is very smart, and very funny. I will have to get more pictures of him. I am going to college in Durant, that is where he is, he is staying in a stable there. He just needs miles and time. He LOVES the water hose. I will get decent pictures up as soon as I can.
I will see him tomorrow =]

He sure is a looker, Rissa! And you can see the Arab in him in the second photo down. As for what his face tells me... If he were human, he'd be the kid who'd get caught with his hand in the candy jar and still swear black and blue that it wasn't him!

Thanks Cara! I always look forward to hearing your evaluations of the horses =] I should just post random pictures of horses for you to evaluate XD But, it always seems you evaluate my horses they all have the same personality! Or close to it! haha, I guess I know now what kind of qualities I like and look forward to in a horse.

That's actually a very good point. All the horses you have are cheeky and highly intelligent.

Love his eyes, they're big, and not to close together, which means he's kind and forgiving, and his ears aren't to far apart, but not too close, which generally means he's not overly lazy, or jumpy, but right in the middle - a happy medium if you will. I was suprised when I read back and it said he was two. Seriously? Only two? I think you've just gotten yourself a REALLY nice little boy, Rissa.
Just a note, it looks as if the halter a smidge big by the way it's resting on his nose. He's awfully cute, I'm jealous.

AW! Thanks Clair, yeah 2 1/2 maybe. he was born in 2007. and i was SO dissapointed the halter is a bit too big! I thought blue looked really good on him... you see, it is a 'large' horse halter because my mom's paint has a HUGE head. So, i just wasn't thinking XP I think a small halter would fit him, or should I go with medium?

I'd go with medium. The blue makes him look Hawt. Captain's color is teal...and hot pink...lol
OH! another color that woudl look just smashing on him is lime green.

Thanks XD i try to keep my man fit and lookin' good. Ah yes, lime green is sweet! I think i will stick with bright blue though. not too dark, but not too light, well, light blue might work.

He looks cute in blue..almost too cute for his own good. Be careful with him, he already looks like the classic playah.

haha! he is! he tries to sweet talk me all the time! XD
A really funny incident (well part of it is funny) happened yesterday- wow- i just got an idea! Maybe I should make a board or sub-board in the OOC especially for people's horses in real life.... If I made a board i could make several sub-boards for like horse health, pictures, drawings, etc...
Anyway, sorry, had to write it down as it came or i would of lost it. So, in order to teach Moon some patience, and in case i ever needed to board him somewhere, that he get stall time, at night. The problem: he hates it. Almost every time he is in there, the next day i come see him, he has skinned up somewhere on his back legs, usually the hock area. I feel so bad for him =[ but the family there uses stuff called 'Underwood" and you spray it on the wound, then over it with baking soda and it helps heal it.
So anyway, two days ago, i fed him ONE treat ONE time. It was just once. The next day I went out there, he was being nippy! I was like, surely it hadn't been from ONE treat. His owners said they had gave him treats here and there, and he was never that way. Well, I had him in the round pen and the wife walked up, she always asks how he is, which is funny, cause he is always in her front yard- i said good. She liked to talk, but anyway, she told me their little grandkids (i hate little kids people don't scold) came over. and loved Moon. Oh Gosh. Then she said, the little girl fed him half a bag of horse treats (WHAT)!!! they told her to stop but she would get so upset, and she was so sweet.
I tried to hide my anger and watched her walk away. That was why. Now he thought he was going to get a treat for NO dang reason what-so-ever! Cursed! Anyway, I had to doctor him. I always let him smell and look at whatever he wants, so he was smelling the Underwood bottle and the baking soda with the lid on it. I tied him up and he willingly let me doctor him. And just out of curiosity, I took the baking soda with the lid off and let him smell it, blowing powder on the floor. Then, I have no idea what made me do it (i just knew it tasted horrible to me by itself), but I stuck two fingers in there, got the powder on them, and when Moon was being nippy on his own i let him take the powder. Man! He tossed his head and was tying to get that taste out of his mouth SO bad. After that, he never offered to nip me the rest of the time i worked with him. I will probably have to repeat the procedure, or at least get some on my hands so he smells it, but eventually, he will quit, and there never has to be any fighting, hitting, violence. Just him learning and my getting to laugh at his reaction!

He is a special horse, he deserves a one-of-a-kind name, or a name that is very personal. He is the horse of my dreams, only... he doesn't deserve the name i wanted to call my dream horse, he deserves something better.... something that really suits him.....

What's his personality like? Then you could choose a name from that.
