These are my ponies, my life basically. As well as some family horses. This is my number 1 man, Zack. He's a registered QH and is now at the ripe ole age of 12 I got him when he was 5, and we have shown AQHA all around and ARHA all around ever since. This is Jake, my 2nd number 1 man around here I show him mainly ARHA as well as NCHA and NRCHA. He took me to my very first AQHYA world show last year in the cowhorse and we loved it! He's a very special little dude to me. He's 10 now, I got him when he was 5. This is Hoodat, he is 15 this year. I would seriously put a monkey on this horse. Very consistant 4D barrel horse and he taught me all about runnin barrels! Now, he is busy getting fat in the pasture and giving lessons This is Flirt, the only mare I've ever owned. She is the most spunky mare I've ever met and always has to get her way. I've only had her for two years, and needless to say we haven't gotten along over half of that time ;p Then I lie, this is Annie, the second mare I've ever owned. I've only had her for about 5 months. This was our first rodeo together. She's 9, and is the most laid back mare I've ever met. I know I know, I have too many... but I'm a hoarder.. I swear..

You have a lot of nice horses Maddie!! And, it looks like you're a very well rounded rider.
And I know how the whole mare things goes =P I have four geldings. I've only ever owned geldings, and then I rescued my little Cowgirl. She's is something special. And then my aunt bought two mares and we kind of 'rescued' them as well. Their feet were bad, and one of them had an abscess. They'd been abandoned in a pasture basically.
Your horses all look very nice. Mine are riff-raffs xD The ones nobody wanted. Haha. Two of them are registered. The mares are supposed to be, but we have been trying to get the papers from their previous owners.
I also want Hoodat to teach me to run barrels hehe.

Aww thank you! I have bought or traded for each one of them myself The deal with my parents was if I could get the horses and pay for them then they would help me out a little. Daww, I wanna rescue a horse sooo bad. I really wanted an OTTB but it really isn't in the cards since I'm riding more western now than ever. Do you have pics of you baby? I should probably go look Believe it or not, a lot of mine were scrapes that no one wanted at one point. Zack would buck everone off, strike at you, etc.. the others had their flaws too but I can see the potential in a lot of horses I will send Hoodat to you! Haha, he is one of a kind!

Cutting is amazing!! I love it I took a couple lessons in when I lived near Oklahoma City, but if I ever got the chance to ride again I would take it in a heartbeat.
