One of my babies, Smason (or Sammy) is one of the most laidback horses ever! He's going on 14 now, but has so much life in him. This past week I've been working as mum as she's got a strain of this stupid Swine Flu that's going around. A couple of days ago, one of the school children I've got (it's school holidays here), asked if we could go riding. I grabbed the halters and ropes along with the grooming kit and the four of us walked out to the paddock (I had three girls, one schooly and two preschoolers and my nephew who's 13 months), when Cameron was asleep. Here's a couple of photos of the preschool girls on Sammy (I don't use their names, I get away with it): The girl in the second photo is the little sister of the schooly. I had them again today and they asked if they could go riding again. Here are a couple of the photos I took today: Yes, Sammy is covered in mud and Cedar has a stylish cover on (a couple of seasons out of date but it's a lovely cover). They were both rugged up until Monday morning when they little toad decided to destroy his rug the night before. He does it every cover!!!

How cute Cara! Sammy is very photogenic and the kids seem to enjoy themselves greatly. I really do love horses who understand the difference from kids or people with problems from regular people. Your horses are lucky to have you =] mine don't have covers. Lol.
And I hope your mom gets well soon!

aaaww, Captain lets us do this with my mom's daycare kids all the time, and they love it. The problem is his size, he's 16.2 and they're just over two feet tall...lol. Very cute, Sammy looks like he loves the attention, and the kids look like they're having loads of fun with the cutie pie (Sammy lol).
