Personality>> Mackenna is a very sweet girl. Even on the darkest of days she can find something to be happy about which allows her to put a smile back on her face. She will always respect those who respect her, and offer care and kindness in the same way. She can be quite quiet, but she can also be very rambunctious. When excited, nervous, or just out with friends, she will be quite the party animal.
But girls being girls, they cannot be all sugar and no spice. Mackenna will stick up for herself if need be. Those that are mean to her and pick fights with her will come to the sad realization that this girl isn’t always gumdrops and candy. She has the attitude to match anyone’s when she is angry. And once you lose her trust, it can be very hard to get back.
Mackenna strives for the simple things in life. All she wants is happiness and fun. She doesn’t need to be in step with the latest fashion; her faded blue jeans and a t-shirt would be fine for her any day. You’d also be lucky to see her with anymore than mascara and lip gloss, for she deemed the products that make everyone wild a nuisance quite a while ago.

It’s the way I’m feeling I just can’t deny
Appearance>> Mackenna Keelen is not your run-of-the-mill kind of gal. Her eyes, for one, are unique in themselves: they do not match. Much to her dismay as a young child, she is heterochromic. While one of her eyes is an icy blue, the other is green. The hair that flows a bit past her shoulders is a pale blonde, but since it is usually tied up in a ponytail or a bun, the underneath is just slightly darker. Mackenna is tall for a girl. Standing at around five feet and nine inches, she towers above many of her peers. In addition to her unnatural tallness, the girl is also quite skinny. Because of exercise all through childhood, she has remained a toothpick and still aquired the muscle she needs do support her in her activities.
Markings>> From the moment she was born Mackenna was a hardheaded little girl. Because of this, she has two scars on her face because she scratched her chickenpox too much. One is an imperfect oval that resides about an inch below the outer corner of her right eye while the other near-perfect circle is half an inch above the middle of her left eyebrow. She has learned to embrace her little “face-craters”, and to this day, brushes her finger over the oval one when she is especially nervous. In addition to the little holes in her cheek and forehead, Mackenna has little holes in her ears. She had her ears pierced when she was eleven, and has an assortment of earrings to fill them with.
But I’ve gotta let it go
Medical History>> Mackenna was in grade five when she tore her left patella tendon. This was the beginning of her reoccurring knee injuries. Because of chronic loose ligaments, she has dislocated her left knee cap twice, and hyper extended it once. She has yet to decide on surgery to cure the problem. Along with her bummy knee, Mack broke her collarbone when she was twelve. Though nothing serious, it still get sore on overcast days.
Criminal History>> Mackenna was busted once for trespassing on private property when she decided to be rebellious on a trail ride. Fortunately for her, the only trouble she got in was a lecture from a cop, and extra chores for a week. Other than that, she is practically clean as a whistle.
Full History>> Mackenna Keelen was born on January fourteenth. After a year with her biological parents, they came to terms with the fact that they were not prepared for a child, and adopted their daughter out. After a half year in a foster home, the tot was adopted by those who would become her permanent parents. Through the adoption she acquired two loving parents, and a brother, Colten, who was two years older than she.
Mackenna “discovered” horses when she was nine. For three years she took lessons at a local barn, and there it was realized that the lanky girl was a natural horsewoman. She could communicate with and ride horses better than most her age.
Mackenna did well in school and other sports she pursued, but soon her life revolved around her time at the barn and when she could ride. Her parents gave Mackenna her first horse when she was thirteen. She and the Warmblood Thoroughbred cross gelding, Voo, were inseparable from the start. They began to show together later in the year he was received, and did quite well on the circuit.
As Mackenna focused on horses more and more, her school record began to slip and slip. Though her parents loved their daughter, they needed to do something about her grades. Soon they had her apply for Blue Ridge Academy.
Now at Blue Ridge, Mackenna hopes to improve in both her academic and her riding abilities. She strives to do her best in everything possible. She has sworn not to be her normal, wallflower self, but be proactive and social in her new school. She knows that school and riding come first at this point in the game, and she will stick to that, for it is the only way she could continue at the academy.
