History: Splat's history never was a good one until Alia came along. She was born into a run down farm, the horses were kept in terrible condition, and in general, Splat had been a accident. The neighbors, who bred paints, had a stallion that broke into one of the many scattered, horribly kept paint mares paddock and bred her. Her owners had not seen what happened, and didn't even know the mare was pregnant really. No treatment was given to her or anything along those lines and she was still kept in horrible conditions. When Splat was born, they had known the mare was pregnant by then because of the mare's growing stomach. They got a vet to clean the foal, and kept her with her mother for awhile. When she was weaned, the isolated her and then sold her, very early for a young foal her age. A hard, mean middle-aged man bought her and was horrible to her. He pushed her into harsh training from a young age, usually beating her and he neglected her as well. She grew to hate men, and a lot of the time would cower around men or bite them. Finally, after he thought she was no hope, he sold the mare who was now scarred, she was also skin and bones. He sold her to a auction where there would probably be a lot of slaughter house buyers, and he had hoped she would go to one. That's when Alia popped up, it was thought the mare wouldn't go to anyone, but then the pinto mare had caught Alia's eyes. Alia and Splat had at first, been kind of shy around each other, and then they warmed up to each other. Alia nursed the mare back to health, fully trained her correctly and with needed gentleness, and her and the mare soared together. Without Alia, the mare wouldn't be where she was today. I'll Start The Uprising
[/center] The BasicsShow Name: I'll Start The Uprising Barn Name: Rebellion Age: 5 Gender: Gelding Breed: Bavarian Warmblood Breed Registry: International Sporthorse Registry The AppearanceCoat Color: Blood Bay Stable Color: GoldHeight: 17 hands The PersonalityPersonality: Rebellion is well, is basically a rebellion of a horse. He is insane and being recently castrated, has the demeanor of a stallion. Rebellion loves to mess around with people, and fight with his rider. Rebellion goes at his own pace, and if he feels lazy that day, your not going to get a very good ride. He also enjoys pushing people around with his large head. He tends to throw his weight around, using his height of 17 hands as well, which is slightly abnormal as usually, Bavarian Warmbloods grow to a maximum of 16.2 hands. But there is one thing that Rebellion will almost always center himself into... Show Jumping. The gelding loves jumping, especially show jumping, and the only time he objects is if he doesn't feel a certain jump, or your not sending him fast enough. He also tends to grab the reins in his mouth and put up a fit. He is a rambuctious gelding, that's for sure. He's a big guy, and loves to tease mares, he also tends to catch peoples (mostly girls) hair in his teeth and give a playful, light tug to it. He is an odd horse, and really, once you get used to him or under control, is a huge sweetheart who just wants lots of lovin' and attention. Caution Around: Whips due to a significant time in his past. Also tends to nip and pull mostly girls hair, fights for lead and faster pace. Also tends to catch and take the reins. The HistoryBasic History:Rebellion has champion blood lines, though his breed isn't widely known, you would probably know the champion jumpers and sport horses in his ancestry if they were named off to you. He was born onto a farm where they bred sport horses, and when a certain mare who was a excellent sport horse with lovely breeding lines, healthy as can be, was retired to the paddock as a brood mare, they knew they had to get a foal out of her. The owners had searched and searched, and finally came across the perfect stallion, big and recently retired from his reining career of a champion show jumper and eventing uses. They had decided to put him up for stud, and after paying a reasonably large price, they bred the two. When Rebellion was born, he certainly sported his excellent blood lines and was a big foal. He was very rambunctious from the the beginning, and when he started to grow, they couldn't believe their eyes. Like almost all Bavarian Warmbloods, he grew fast, but some how avoided the usual health condition of Osteochondrosis and before they knew it, was jumping his paddock gates. The stallion, who was then 2 years of age, would trot down the mares barn, teasing them all like the playful, flirtatious animal he was. Then one of the grooms would run out and snatch him and he would fight them the whole way back, enjoying his fun. Once though, they got an accidental foal out of him. The foal he had was a gorgeous filly who showed her sires eagerness and well breeding in every way. They nearly decided to put him up for stud but focused him on jumping on showing, not wanting to put him to waste. They had sent him off to a trainers for at least two weeks, and when they went to pick him up, he had been cut across his tongue to make him more responsive to the reins, and whipped horribly. Rebellion never had lost his spirit in that horrid place though, as soon as he saw them in his paddock, he banged against the gate, challenging it to keep him from them. They discovered his cuts when they had taken him home, and they fought with the trainer and gained their money back. Then, they hired a personal trainer just for Rebellion and had kept an eye on the lady, watching her make the young stallion excel. They castrated the stallion after a show or two, and then after he recovered, sent the near 4 year old into shows. He excelled greatly, wining many first place ribbons and bringing in a lot of winnings to his farm. Then, Alia had seen him in a show, and had gone insane over the big guy, saying she wished she could have such a horse to continue her practice at show jumping, which had been stalled upon coming to Blue Ridge. Her father had been with her, and even though she was only saying it in admiration for the big guy, her father took it literally. He then approached the owners after and asked if he could buy the gelding. They first laughed in his face, and after a very long time of persuading them, he dished out a LOT of money, and he knew they couldn't really refuse the offer. Somehow, he got the gelding under his ownership, then signed Rebellion into Alia's name, and now is taking the gelding to her as a surprise, a pretty BIG surprise.
