Mom,
I've settled in nicely here at Blue Ridge, you'll be pleased to know. I'm so happy to finally be back in a boarding school, though you're probably not too happy, due to missing me and all. Sugar and Phantom have settled in well, though Phantom is more than a little upset, having to share turnout space with other horses besides his girlfriend. Sugar, on the other hand, has made lots of friends with the other horses.
I haven't met many people yet, though I hope to remedy that soon. You'll be pleased to know that my classes are going fine, and Archie has settled in as well. He's out searching the grounds at the moment; he does that a lot, nowadays. I think he enjoys it, though he caught, killed, and brought me a bird the other day.
I'm in a mounted games class, in which I ride a little mare named Ish. I'll tell you more about her at a later date, as right now, I really am quite unfamiliar with her. Well, classes start in a few and I don't want to be late like I was my first week here.

How exciting! Getting to go camping! I hope you've had fun and you had better write and tell me all about it! Tell Codie I said hello back and that I miss him. I hope you two stay together, he's a great guy!
My mounted games class is going quite well. The mare I ride in it, her name is Ish. She's a rocky mountain breed and is the same height as Sugar, though she's much more slender than Miss Tank is. She's a very sweet horse, too, though I'm so used to Sugar that we do have our little disagreements, but I'm hoping to be allowed to take her out a few times in between classes and get to know her.
I've made a few friends and met a few people, but I'll tell you more about them later. Classes are going well, a bit boring because I've already read the book we're reading in my english class, but that's ok. That just means I'll do good on the tests.
I really miss you, but I'm getting back into the swing of things here.

Dad,
Hey, it's been a while. How are you and how is the family way over there? I'm at BRRA now, as you probably know. It's very fun and things are going quite well.
My classes are interesting, though some are a little boring. I'm riding in a mounted games class, where I ride a rocky mountain breed named Ish. She's a nice little horse and I like her.
Sugar and Phantom are doing well also. Sugar is still her same old self, though Phantom hates the fact that they are pastured with other horses who might try to steal his 'girlfriend' away. I haven't been able to ride quite as much as I had hoped to, but hopefully that will remedy itself as I get more used to things.
I have made a few friends, but it seems like most everyone here already has their own friends. Though, I really don't mind. The few people I've met have been nice enough and if they become great friends, then I'll be set.
Well, let me get this mailed. I knw it will take a while to get to you way up there in England.
