Physical Description: Kate is physically fit without being too thin or overweight. She is around 5'8" tall. She has a thin waist and flaired hips. Her eyes are green with bits of blue scattered through them. Her hair is a dark auburn color and falls below her shoulders. Her hair has some wavy and curl to it, but not a lot. Her face is rounded, almost heart shaped.
Personality: She is...interesting. One moment she will be quiet as a mouse and then she will explode into fire. She is a very determined person. Once you meet her she is kind of hard to forget. She doesn't always do the right thing, but she tries hard. She does what she needs to do with everything she has. She isn't the most friendly person you will meet, but she isn't the worst either. If someone she cares about is in trouble she will try to protect them. She is a tomboy.
History: Kate's family wasn't exactly poor, but they were far from rich. She walked to school with her little sister every day. She was an average student, but she excelled in history. She always wanted to know about what really happened, not what her teacher and the text book said.
When she was around eight years old her father took her hunting for the first time. The family's house was in the Montana country side so hunting and fishing was a part of life. Her father didn't trust her with a gun at such a young age and since he had a bow and some arrows he taught her how to shoot them. She became pretty good.
Kate had always been fascinated by horses, but her love for them didn't form until she was ten years old and her friend let her ride his horse. That was when she fell in love. She did odd jobs; walking dogs, mowing lawns so she could save up to buy a horse. Pretty ambitious for a ten year old, but she was able to do it. At the age of twelve her hard work paid off and she was able to get a horse. She has been riding ever since and is always looking to improve her skills.

Personality: Kina is a smart young dog. She is fiercly loyal and follows Kate everywhere she can. She was very easy to train. She is usually well behaved, but when she is hyper it is best to just let her out and throw the ball for her. She is very athletic, usually following Kate and her horse on trail rides. She also loves playing with other dogs.
History: Kina was born into a litter of eight to the Evergreen's neighbors. They were fortunate enough to get Kina who was the runt of the litter. She was very small when she was born, but has grown to be a nice size. The Evergreens got her at when she was nine weeks old and she has been with them ever since. She had her troubles with swimming in the river, but she was always fished out before anything bad could happen. Not that any of those damaged her love of swimming.
