Personality: Shaniko is smart and likes to try to get out of doing things. He will fight with you, but eventually he will give up and be complacent. He can be lazy at times. He isn't spooked by many things. He loves people and horses alike and he is nonviolent for the most part. He would rather move away than kick out at another horse.
History: Shaniko was born in Oregon to the Harper's family friend's arabian mare. He had a twin brother, but saddly he didn't make it. He spent his first two years with his mother, brother and a couple of other horses. The family decided they needed to downsize so they gave Shaniko to the Harper's. Nicole took on the task of breaking him herself. They have been together ever since. They have developed a very deep bond.
