Personality>> Brian is a rather relaxed person, although he has an 'alpha' personality that comes out around horses, whatever horses, even if he isn't the one working with them. He loves what he does, and enjoys helping people. He doesn't like dogs at all, for no reason other than he dislikes barking, but loves the company of cats. He loves cooler weather, and snow, although he doesn't like working in it. He has a dry, sarcastic sense of humor, and uses a lot of references that are only funny to him. However, he doesn't mind if people don't understand the references, as long as they get that the joke was meant to be sarcastic. It peeves him when people don't recognize sarcasm.

It’s the way I’m feeling I just can’t deny
Appearance>> Standing at 6' 3", Brian is rather tall. His frame bears a weight of 214 pounds, mostly muscle from working with horses. His skin is light, but tanned from working outside a lot. He usually wears loose, easy to work in clothes, although not loose enough to scare horses. His feet are usually clad in steel-toed rubbed boots. His brown hair is kept short and out of his face. His eyes are light green, almost grey, and contain a sparkle of laughter, even if he is focused on working. He only shaves every three or four days, and hair is often visible on his face, which doesn't bother him, but might bother other people.
Markings>> Gash on his right arm from a stray hoof
But I’ve gotta let it go
Medical History>> Various broken bones
Criminal History>> Arrested for public intox. once, when he was 21, but otherwise nothing.
Full History>>Born and raised in the middle of Virginia, Brian was a rather happy, easy to care for child. His mother was a rider who enjoyed competitive trail rides rather than the arena, and his father was a well-known stallion handler all around the state. Brian learned to ride on his mother's horse quite early in life, and found the joys of CTR as soon as he turned 10, the official age when he could join the rides. He had always wanted to work with stallions like his father, so at the age of eleven, his father made him a promise. If Brian worked with the pony mare he rode currently for a year, learning natural horsemanship and as much about horses as he could, when he turned twelve, his father would start teaching him about stallion handling, and at thirteen, he would be allowed to help his father.
Well, Brian displayed his perseverance and did everything, and at the end of the year, he was still eager to learn about stallion handling, because he wanted to be just like his dad, in a child's idolized sense. True to his word, his father started teaching him. However, that same year, things started cooling between Brian's mother and father. However, they stuck it out, living together, just rarely seeing each other anymore. Brian's father started traveling more and more, and spent more time on the road. Sometimes, during Brian's school breaks, he would let the young boy come with him, continuing his lessons in stallion handling.
By the time Brian turned eighteen, he had surpassed his father's ability to work with stallions, and was almost a partner in his father's work. He continued to ride in competitive trail competitions, although he was not allowed to ride a stallion, due to his age. Once he was of age, he considered buying a horse of his own, but didn't, since he was often on the road, helping people with stud troubles, with only his cat as a companion.
After more than ten years of traveling around, Brian started wanting a permanent home base, a place where he could teach others, as his father had taught him, and yet also set out to help people once in a while. Blue Ridge Academy caught his eye when he was looking around online, and he applied right away, and soon he was accepted and on his way to Kentucky.
We found love in a hopeless place
Pet Name>> Goblin
Registered Name>> N/A
Age>> 8 years
Species>> Feline
Breed>> Scottish Fold
Registry>> N/A
Personality>> Goblin is a very relaxed, calm cat. She is slightly nervous about being held by strangers, but after a while, she usually warms up to them. She doesn't mind being around horses, even nervous horses, and sometimes Brian brings her to help calm stallions that are usually rather uptight. She loves going to new places, and whenever Brain will let her, will follow him around, even out in the street.
History>> Goblin was born in a barn when a registered Scottish fold escaped outside during her heat cycle. The cat had been covered, but the litter she gave birth to was mixed, causing everyone to assume that she had found a tom out in the country as well. The cat was eventually returned to her owners, but they did not want the half-bred litter of kittens, and left them with the owners of the barn. When Brian came to look at one of their stallions, Goblin took to following him around, and he took the cat with him on a whim. Since then, she has come to be his constant companion in everything.
