Full History>> Becca Walsh grew up with her very wealthy family in a small town near Burlington in Vermont. They always had horses, and her sister was into competing, though Becca wasn't so much. Becca grew up on the Zone I show circuit, but stayed outside of the ring for the most part, except for a few shows. She much prefered working with her thoroughbred at home, galloping him through the fields of their sprawling New England land. Because of her competitive nature, she had trained with her sister, learning eventing and showjumping, and became quite good at it. Becca's family had always been very wealthy, and her parents spoiled their children immensely, yet rarely spent time with them. For this reason, the children became very close, spending most of their time in the barn with their horses. Becca suffered from depression for a year or two, and her sister helped her through this the most of anyone. Becca's sister was 2 years older than her, and 17 years old when she was killed in a car accident. Becca was devastated, and no longer had anyone to connect to. Her sister's horse, Red Friday Night, was suffering similar problems. He had been eating less and less, and his attitude became horrible. Nobody rode him for quite a while, and their parents planned on selling him, but Becca stopped them , promising that she'd work with him and start showing him in order to keep the horse her sister had loved so much. Becca began showing and found that although her and Frye had a lot to work on, they could end up going far. Eventually, Becca decided to attend Blue Ridge, and bring only one horse with her at first. She chose Frye, knowing that he needed her more and they could keep training. She hoeps to bring her other thoroughbred to Blue Ridge soon if she finds that she has time for a few horses. Becca hopes that she can escape the constant reminders of her sister's death and make her own new future at Blue Ridge Academy.
We found love in a hopeless place
