Hey bud, I never did get to thank you before leaving for letting me crash at your place for so long after, well, you know... the 'Big D'. So yeah, thanks.
You probably are going to throw this letter away after reading through that one paragraph, but, and i'm hoping you won't here, I'll tell you a bit about this place...
It's extremely nice. I mean, it reminds me a lot of home, as far as ritzy and all... but it's also really laid back and the people here, the ones I've met so far, are really nice and friendly. Stop laughing, I know what's you're thinking. That I can make friends with a two-by-four. Really Chad. The people here are nice.
As you know, I was signed on to be the trail class instructor. i'm sad to say that not too many students seem really interested in the class, though I did have a few that weren't required show up to check it out. So maybe that's a good sign. Who knows...
Holly and Deuce have settled in well, though Holly isn't looking too great. Or feeling too great, as a matter of fact...

Thanks for the phonecall, I needed it. I guess I was feeling a little homesick, but you know, it'll go away soon. Things aren't going so well up here... Well, not 'here' wise, but in general. I had to have Holly put to sleep. It was... I should have done it a long time ago.
My class is going ok, there's not a whole lot of students too interestd in trail classes and obstacle challenges, I've found out. Oh well, hopefully more students will get interested. The ones so far, well, they're pretty neat. At least they seem genuinely interested in the class. Believe it or not, but I'm actually teaching a girl I competed against at an open class a few years ago.
So, how're you? Anything new between you and your girlfriend? When you two do decide to tie the not, I hope you don't forget about me up here in Kentucky. I fully plan on being there for your wedding. Tell Sarah said 'hello' and that I miss her. (not like that, you jerk, you know we're just great friends).
