Shine a light through an open door
Full Name
>>Adiel Alexi De Noir
Nicknames>>Ellie or Adda.
Age>> Sept 27th 1988; 24
Staff or Student>> Horse judging
House>>
Gender>> Male, I assure you.
Sexuality>> Pansexual
Face Claim>> Andrej Pejic
Turn away 'cause I need you more
Personality>> Adiel is...... well needless to say he's a very eccentric man. To most he can come off as being a playful, air headed flirt who'd rather laze in the shade and make jokes than actually work. However if you give him a chance you'll find that's as far from the truth as you can get. (About the lazy part, at least).
Once you get to know him you'll find that he's very passionate about life and love, dead set in his ways and dedicated to his work. Although he's bubbly and a day dreamer he's very protective about the people he's loyal to, if he feels they're being threatened or slandered in anyway he'll be the first to jump to their defense, even if it's not necessary.
Likes>> Dressage, a good pair of heels, white tea, long peaceful trail ride, dark chocolate, art museums, having alone time to spoil the horses, traveling, swimming and taking walks after dark
Dislikes>> The miss-treatment of any animal, eating meat, closed minds, homophobes, being in one place for too long, hesitance, prejudice.
Fears>> Losing his family and heights.
Hopes>> To save up enough to send for his little girl and to provide a stable home and happy life for her and his brother.
Secrets>> He doesn't keep many secrets, but it usually takes quite some time to figure out he's a father.
It’s the way I’m feeling I just can’t deny
Appearance>> Adiel can easily be mistaken for a woman, it's happened more than once in the past. His build is slender and lean, willowy and graceful like a dancer with pale porcelain skin and a slight curve of the hips. His white blonde hair is just past his shoulders in length and he typically keeps it either braided or waved in a style reminiscent to a flapper girl's. With full lips and intense, navy blue eyes framed by long, thick lashes it's not uncommon to see people stare at him or making double takes as they try to guess his gender.
Markings>> He has piercings in his ear lobes, navel, tongue and also has a tattoo of a fluffy dandelion on his right foot.
But I’ve gotta let it go
Medical History>>Adiel has an allergy to meat, his stomach can't digest the proteins and as a result it makes him very ill
Criminal History>> Err...... a few small misdemeanors in his youth.
Full History>> Born in Vienna Austria, Adiel was the oldest step-son of a prestige horse breeder (His step-father) and a champion of the equine Olympics (His mother). He was practically raised in the saddle and lived a fairly comfortable life. A large home in the city, ballet and piano lessons, food always on the table, new clothes on his back and most of his parents' undivided attention, the rest going to his baby brother named Theodore who always left him with someone to play with.
Adiel never really lacked for anything in his early childhood, but when his parents passed away he was separated from his younger sibling. Their home was sold along with their stable in the country, the horses he had grown up riding and learning to care for were auctioned off to the highest bidders while he was sent away by his extended family to live in an orphanage ran by nuns out of a Catholic church.
Living in the orphanage wasn't easy for Adiel, he developed a few behavioral problems and his girlish looks subjected him to bullying by the other boys. Thankfully his favorite nun, Sister Agatha was there to watch over him and raised him like her own child, protecting him when he got into trouble. Sadly, although he will always be grateful for what she did for him, it never replaced the hole that being pulled away from Theodore and his family's horses made in his heart.
He didn't find Theo again until he was nineteen and by then out on his own. His inheritance kept in a savings account left by his parents abled him to hire a lawyer to help him fight for custody of his brother.
A year later they were together again, living under the same roof.
Until recently the two men had been living a vagabond lifestyle. Moving from one place to another, never truly settling down long enough to establish roots, working as horse trainers and stable hands as they went along to make a living.
During a record long stay of five months in Germany, Adiel had a summer fling with the daughter of his employer, resulting in the birth of his daughter, Stella. Although he was still on the move and never settled down with her mother, Adiel often visited his little one. He was a protective, doting father. However Stella's grandfather, dissaproving of Adiel's involvment with his daughter in the first place, filed a restraining order against him, claiming that he had been abusing the girl, preventing him from being within a mile of Stella.
The event left him devastated, but when Adiel realized Theodore's grades were beginning to dwindle and his social skills were failing, Adiel made the choice to move on for the time being and find a more stable job. After getting an offering to work at Blue Ridge the two chose to permanently settle in America. He struggles to adjust to his new life and prays every day that he made the right choice for his brother, and himself.
We found love in a hopeless place
