The Personality
Personality: Thimble is, for lack of a better word, enormous. Standing at 17.2 hands, the mare is about as tall as a sport horse can get, and she knows it. The height comes along with a matching personality. Thimble is very playful and can sometimes be pushy. She is always looking for treats, and has found ways to escape various pastures and stalls in the past. She needs a rider and caretaker who can tell her when enough is enough, and make her respect them without making her angry. She’s easily offended, and can really put up a fuss when her feelings are hurt. She’s also very talented, and is very well trained in eventing. She excels in dressage and showjumping, and that is what Peter usually uses her for. Thimble is also a bit of a brat and expects perfect equitation and clear signals from her riders. She’s nearly always clean, and one could almost describe her as being vain. She knows she’s beautiful and special.

The History
Basic History: Thimble was trained from a young age for eventing, and was immersed in the show world from the beginning of her life. She had already been competing for quite a while with her top barn when she was bought by Peter when he was 10. By this time she was a seasoned show horse, and he had already proved himself to be a talented rider. Peter had already been showing a bit on a leased horse, but Thimble introduced him to the truly competitive show circuit. She taught him great eq, as well as quite a few other things that made him what he is as a rider today. They have been an inseparable team ever since, and Peter trusts her more than most people.
